People who can't afford to buy all the food they need, pay bills or whatever else don't care that the mortgage rates or inflation is down.

The Democrats aren't going to be able to act like they didn't let millions of illegals in the country by saying border crossings are down. Everyone has seen the open borders and all the illegals taking services away from citizens.

Prices are actually a pretty big issue, and probably THE reason people think the economy is bad. Although, people's feelings on the economy tend to be highly partisan. If Trump had presided over the exact same economy, I'm sure SFL would think it was the best ever.

Our immigration system IS broken, but to blame Biden, much less Harris, is pretty simplistic. And I agree the fearmongering is way over the top. All this "invasion" rhetoric... I mean, if it were truly an emergency, they should have moved Lankford's bill forward. The fact they didn't, and the reason behind it, shows the GOP sees the immigration "crisis" more as an issue to win elections rather than a problem to be actually solved.
