This is why the attacks from MAGA on Harris and Emhoff will fail and backfire spectacularly.

1. Harris may have dated Brown after he was separated, and there is no evidence she did anything improper professionally. In fact, he says the opposite. Whereas Trump got convicted for falsifying business records for desperately trying to keep his affair quiet during his campaign.

2. Emhoff has acknowledged why his first marriage failed, taken personal responsibility, disclosed it to Harris when they first started dating, and has a great relationship with his ex-wife. Whereas Trump never takes personal responsibility and has cheated on every wife (3) as well as being held liable for sexual assault.

of debating where money needs to go to,you won't find me on political forums. The defense budget needs more money.
Social programs do as well. That's a delicate decision with no easy answers. Trump struck a nerve with people still fighting
the civil war. He has to go and the sooner the better.

I honestly don't know what the post-Trump GOP looks like. I don't think Trump was some kind of infection. The party had been going in a certain extremist, conspiratorial direction for a couple decades before Trump - Trump just took that baton and ran with it, and as a result he controls the party until he dies or becomes somehow disabled. I think the party starting in the mid 90's for sure, but even before then with the Southern Strategy and catering to Evangelicals, basically created a monster. And when Trump took control of the "base," they realized they had no control of the monster anymore.

I used to be a Republican in my younger days, when my interests were primarily in economic policy. The modern GOP is completely foreign to what the GOP was back then, and I will never vote Republican again in its current form.
