    Today it begins, Kamala has reached the point that she's the Democratic Party nominee:

    She spent yesterday on the telephone for most of the day. I read that yesterday that she called the party leaders in all 50 states. That would take me three days.

    I just saw this - simply amazing. People who saw the first “winner” said it looked fake. I guess they were right. What a complete moron. He’s as unprincipled as Trump. Shockingly vile.

    is that even legal?

    If it came out that the winners of state lotteries were chosen in advance people would be charged with something and maybe go to jail
     
    If it wasn't for the polls saying otherwise how close it is and just used our eyes and ears it would seem like Harris will win in a laugher

    I was waiting outside the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina after Vice President Kamala Harris’s rally when my phone started to blow up. Ann Selzer, the vaunted pollster of Iowa, had just dropped a poll showing that Harris was leading Trump by three points in the Hawkeye State — a state Trump had won twice. Everyone in the political world wanted to talk about it.

    The Trump campaign knew how bad this news looked. Tony Fabrizio and Tim Saler, the Trump campaign’s data men, released a memo challenging the findings almost immediately.

    Not long afterwards, a New York Times/Siena College poll showed Harris leading in North Carolina, as well as Georgia, Nevada and Wisconsin. If Harris wins all four, she would not even need to win Pennsylvania, Arizona or Michigan in order to win the entire election.

    By the time these polls dropped, I may have been shocked at their margin, but I was not surprised that Harris’s campaign had drawn another ace. That’s because I had spent much of Saturday following both presidential candidates around North Carolina on the final weekend of the campaign and it had become clear to me that Harris had all the momentum, while Trump was grasping for straws.

    As I waited outside the pavilion for Harris’s rally, numerous older white women told me how enthused they were about Harris. One — Janice Lewis, who said she came from Davidson, North Carolina — told me that she not only was going to the rally but had already phone-backed for the vice president and had given money to Harris’s campaign.

    This tracks with what the Selzer poll showed — particularly that senior women, meaning women aged 65 and older, support Harris by a whopping 2-to-1 margin. Many of these women remember life before Roe v Wade and were infuriated by the Dobbs v Jackson decision that killed it. Many also likely remember the wound that came with seeing Trump beat Hillary Clinton..................

    Donald Trump called former Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi “crazy as a bed bug” during an unhinged rant less than 24 hours ahead of Election Day.

    Trump was in Raleigh, North Carolina, Monday morning when he made the remarks about the California representative and Democratic leader. The Raleigh event marked his first of four rallies on the eve of Election Day.

    "She’s a bad, sick woman, Trump said. “She’s crazy as a bedbug.”

    “She is a crazy, she’s a — remember she ripped up the paper behind me? She could’ve gone to jail for that,” he added, referring to when Pelosi ripped up a copy of his State of the Union address in 2020.

    A spokesperson for Pelosi said Trump’s comments are “just the usual projection of his own insanity.”

    “The former President is showing himself to be increasingly unhinged and unstable,” her spokesperson told The Independent.

    At the same rally, Trump said his staff talked him down from launching attacks at former first lady Michelle Obama.

    “She hit me the other day,” Trump said. “I was gonna say to my people, ‘Am I allowed to hit her now?’ They said, ‘Take it easy, sir, sir.’”

    “My genius is – I’m telling you, they said, ‘Just take it easy,’” he added. “What do you mean? She said bad about me. I can’t hit back? ‘Sir, you’re winning. Just relax.’ Is that good or bad advice?”..........
