A note about whatever the Trump campaign thinks it’s doing with the Amish in PA.

They have boasted that they are registering Amish people to vote, I have seen manipulated images purporting to show Amish buggies with Trump flags, and an Amish woman taking a Trump yard sign. At his rally yesterday morning Trump referenced his Amish support and asked the crowd where his Amish supporters were, the camera panned to one man in a straw hat wearing a tee shirt (this was on Sunday morning (!).



Now, I don’t know much about PA Amish from personal experience, but I do know something about the Amish in my own state from the business my husband owned and operated which was patronized by several Amish businesses. They were our customers, we made deliveries to their homes, we shopped in the store one of them ran, had small talk conversations with them.

I never saw anything that would lead me to believe that there is any truth to what the Trump campaign is trying to say is happening in PA. The man with a beard and straw hat dressed in a tee shirt at a campaign event on a Sunday morning would be in line for some sort of discipline from his church if he were actually of the faith. The Amish don’t vote in my experience.

If TrumpCo commits massive, easily caught fraud tomorrow there'll be chaos. His supporters will insist the election was "finally honest" while everyone else will be seeing the thousands of ghost votes, repeats and quarter-sticks of dynamite thrown into ballot dropboxes.

Joe will have to go through the exact same process Cheato did in 2020, but for real this time. With evidence. Meanwhile there's blood in the streets because the MAGAts will be completely unhinged.

Regarding the election, I more worried about Putin than Trump. Putin is toast if Trump loses the election and things remain relatively peaceful here after Trump loses. I expect there will be an attempt at a major cyber attack targeting everything on election day. Don't know if it will succeed or not, but I definitely think it's coming.

"Judas Priest," I don't know him, but I sure do know a whole bunch of Priests, maybe Judas is a distant relative of theirs.

They're a local band, a band of native people who live pretty close to my house. Their reservation is called the Sarah Priest Land Allotment. They have 80 acres along the creek bottom down in the gorge. It started out as 160 acres, I don't know what happened to the other 80 acres. I'm sure it's still there, but who owns it now is the question.

Here's a photo of their matriarch Sarah. She was the daughter of Chief Tenaya who had been the band leader during the gold rush. I drive past the cemetery where she's buried most days.

Anytime i see some of her descendant kinfolk walking along the road I stop and give them a ride to or from town. Otherwise we smile and wave as we go by, and they smile and wave back. A band of friendlier folk than them are hard to find.

Guess who pushed to have Alito and Thomas on the court? That's right, the very same Leonard Leo. Leo does not compromise. All of the justices he has picked share his agenda, which is why Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett have all ruled the same way as Alito and Thomas on every case that involves equality, and corporate vs government and individual rights.

Cite the cases in which Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett opposed Thomas and Alito. We have to deal with the reality that is, not the reality we wish it was.

That and every.single.one.of.them lied about RvW. Each one was asked, and each one lied and said it was settled. They crapped on whatever credibility they had after that. It is no wonder there is so much distrust in the SC these days.

I've got good news, quarter sticks of dynamite will not fit through the ballot dropbox slot. Not even close. And since dynamite is like a thin paper tube filled with mostly earth, a type of clay, trying to cram it through the slot would just powder it and most of it would fall to the ground on the outside of the box. And it would be real hard to set off after it got mushed and crunched up that way.

A cap and fuse would barely go through the slot even if is was without dynamite at all. A dynamite cap alone wouldn't do much.

Usually the cap is stuffed in the center of the earth inside of the paper tube.
