I'll probably be flipping between CNN, NBC, and probably PBS if they have coverage.

Biden up by 21k votes in Wisconsin, 95% reported.
Biden up by 18k votes in Michigan, 94% reported.
Pretty razor thin.
And Nevada.Biden will win without Pennsylvania... Once he gets Wisconsin and Michigan, this is over.
Nevada is all mail in ballots remaining. They should break to Biden. It's a foregone conclusion. Part of the in person vote showing up first and making it look competitive. The something gave everyone hope for Texas but that was just the dump of early voting being counted first. And Nevada.
Although it seems like Biden might pull this out, it really is one of the worst possible scenarios in which it could happen. Also questionable at this point if Dems take the Senate and, without that, not much is going to be accomplished. In fact, it probably leans toward a DNC loss in the 2024 Presidential Election.
The rise of Trump was a horrible blow to this nation from which it will never recover. He harnessed the feelings of disenfranchisement a lot of rural working class voters were feeling. Something Bernie Sanders could have done in 2016 and spun this country in another direction. Now, however, I think the division in America will last generations.
Yeah, who doesn't, really? I didn't even take one last night because I was so exhausted that it would have been a waste. I can't (but totally knew) this election is going to drag out for weeks after the votes are actually counted.Doc gave me benzos before my vasectomy. I absolutely loved how I felt. I didn't care about anything.
I had a notification that they called Arizona in the middle of the night and was pretty confused seeing it listed as still too early or whatever.Lead in Pennsylvania is starting to shrink. Will it shrink enough for Biden to overtake Trump.
I didn't know the AP called Arizona for Biden. I feeling a whole lot better than 12 hours ago.
Yeah, I saw it called by the AP too. The problem is it has been stuck at 80% for 12 hours. Supposedly its missing in person voting but even then it is from places where Biden has a strong lead. Trump would have to take like 75% of the remaining vote which is highly unlikely.I had a notification that they called Arizona in the middle of the night and was pretty confused seeing it listed as still too early or whatever.
You're right, but I think they are wrong. I know their perception probably won't change, but it shouldn't change how we address the problem. I don't think most liberals hate them, but too many of the rural white voters hate everyone that doesn't look like them, so we speak out against their attitudes. We have to keep calling out the hatred. It shouldn't lead to us hating the sinner, but rather praying that the sinner either changes, or doesn't hurt others, because he becomes the fringe, even in the rural world.I think though this is the attitude those rural white voters are hearing - Dems/the left/liberals/etc... hate them and the only way for them to survive is to find a savior like Trump.
I think a Bernie map looks exactly like a Biden map barring GA going blue. Bernie would have won AZ with his Latino support there and the northern states that were the historic home to unionized workers. Enthusiasm matters, see Trump rallies.Although it seems like Biden might pull this out, it really is one of the worst possible scenarios in which it could happen. Could be. However, Susan Collins seemingly winning reelection means she can obstruct as much as she wants with a new six-year 'lease-on-life.' Lisa Murkowski could still trend moderate but Alaska seems fairly conservative and it might behoove her to vote against Biden policies and judicial nominees.i am pretty cynical but I see it differently.
not having the senate isn’t great but with the house and president and a closer Senatorial gap then “flipping” a senator on key legislation is easier. And having the tiebreaking vote.
I also don’t see another trump in the pipeline and while I think the schism is definitely there a d not going away anytime soon, that we won’t see a trump riling them up and we have hope.
Oh, I think Bernie would have lost this year. I was referring to 2016 in that he would have beaten Trump and addressed a lot of the needs of the working class and diffuse the current tensions America has.I think a Bernie map looks exactly like a Biden map barring GA going blue. If Dems don’t find a way to get the Senate to 50, it going to be a long 2 years even if Biden wins. At 49-51, we could see Romney, Collins (if she holds on), and Manchin get together and force compromises. At 48-52, McConnell will make Ds eat shirt while grinning about it.
They keep voting this way, I'll start to hate them more and more. Just being honest. And I have half of my extended family who are Trump cultists and the other half hardcore, lifelong democrats, so it's not like I can't separate the politics from the person in real life...but when it comes to entire portions of the country that have more land than people and they control who wins the presidency, fork them. You're right, but I think they are wrong.
