There is some serious soul searching that needs to be done, but given our apparent low standards it likely won't happen.

    Not to put too fine a point on it but... America is finished.
     
    What gets me is that I know a lot of educated and seemingly bright people, but they will never vote for a Dem because of one issue. The country could be a smoldering cesspool but as long as abortion is still legal, they will vote against their own interests.
     
    Why is it “breaking news” when Biden wins California, Oregon, or Washington, of when Trump wins Louisiana or Wyoming? The only “breaking news” is you are mentally challenged for not calling that earlier.

    Yes he is. When I saw the Florida numbers, he was way up from 2016. This is a different election in some key ways.

    I don't want to go astray too much, but I think there were a number of mistakes that were made during the run up to the election. And I think that got a lot of people's attention and made them more motivated to go vote.

    Ah...the good ol days where we wanted our leaders to be the best of us. I blame Steve Schmidt who introduced this plague of stupidity into presidential level politics when he drug out Sarah Palin
     
    Early tonight NBC talked about what mattered to voters from exit polls. Rs #1 was economy. Ds #1 was racial justice. Covid was 2nd on Ds list. This tells me Biden didn’t communicate what he would do different than Trump, tie the economy to the Covid response, and the importance of a leader that will work with public health agencies.
     
    If I hear another “thought leader” blaming whites, women, men, pedophiles, one armed arm wrestlers, etc. for Trump winning, and not blaming the Democratic Party for running a shirt candidate, I’m going to scream.
    Run. Better. Candidates.
     
    Guys, this isn’t over, no it’s not the easy win we all wanted but this is the more realistic scenario all along.

    Majority of people do not vote or close to that. If this was truly a surge with those groups, then this shouldn’t be close. But yet here we are. I’ve been disgusted for 4 years, looks like a very real possibility that that will happen.
