Frankly, I'm completely ignorant when it comes to the Critical Race Theory curriculum. What is it, where does it come from, and is it legitimate? Has anyone here read it and maybe give a quick summary?

Yeah, that's silly. But it's yet another tabloid issue for the easily distracted. I wonder if you got this upset when schools in the South tried to prevent the teaching of the theory of evolution and/or mandated the teaching of creationism? Me? I just sort of rolled my eyes at it and laughed at the rubes. You should do the same when it comes to silly attempts at pushing CRT in high school or below.

I don't believe they are teaching CRT. At most they teach some anti-racism.

I've posted multiple documents or other things that show the schools or teachers literally saying or referencing "Critical Race Theory." What do you think the documents meant when they said Critical Race Theory? I'm guessing there is no evidence that will change your mind when you are in denial even after being shown documents from the schools that confirm that they were or will be teaching Critical Race Theory.

My oldest gran daughter went to public school here in Montgomery County, MD and was taught some social justice and anti-racism. The family knows not to say anything that remotely resembles non-PC when she is around. She has a very low threshold for indignation.

Is much more than that. I am thinking 1984 type stuff. She is a very open to experience type and I hope she does not turn into an SJW. On the other hand all the other ones that went to Montgomery County public schools are fine.

If you can really explain what Critical Race Theory is, in your own words, and then explain how this theory would actually be taught in an elementary school setting, then we could have a conversation. The word as it’s being used today, by all sorts of people, is absolutely meaningless.

As a grandpa my worst nightmare is that my oldest grand daughter gets a tattoo. I fully admit I am old fashioned! I realize that most people these days have tattoos and is no big deal.

I count myself as a SJW, and I look like a stereotypical Trump supporter.

My wife is a SJW, and she competed in and won many beauty pageants up until i got her pregnant when she was 16. We are both pro choice, yet we became teenage parents and have supported ourselves our entire adult life.

I know many SJW's and none of them have blue hair or look like they belong on my 600 pound life.

I am well aware of the bias Sam. Not all girls with green hair are SJWs. It is always a good idea to set the stereotype aside and judge everyone as an individual.

I am pro-choice too. SJW is an honorable position. It only becomes a problem when the SJW becomes intolerant of other views or when it becomes a pseudo-religion. A good thing to an excess is just too much.

I will agree with the point that what I posted are people in the extreme end of the spectrum. Most people are normal.

I prefer that term to SJW, which, in my experience, is used in a derogatory manner. If it helps, substitute the latter for the former.
