Frankly, I'm completely ignorant when it comes to the Critical Race Theory curriculum. What is it, where does it come from, and is it legitimate? Has anyone here read it and maybe give a quick summary?

Hopefully with concrete examples of exactly what is being taught and how it’s harming children. It would be helpful if it came from real sources and wasn’t just manufactured outrage.

I think this is a total BS issue made up by fear mongers on the right, much like McCarthy made up the Red Scare in the fifties (I think it was in the fifties).

problem is that real educators are being threatened and harassed by these CRT loonies. They are losing their jobs and being subjected to death threats, sometimes involving their own children. This isn’t a case of people making coherent arguments about teaching policy, it’s mob rule. It’s essentially un-American at its core. If you support this, you’re definitely on the wrong side of history here.

I agree with your post. The percent of students that re negatively impacted by this so-called CRT is extremely small. Most of the time the schools teach history with no controversy. This is magnified by the right for political gain. But, don't forget that the extreme left does it too. If you listen to them there are KKKs and NAZIs everywhere.

Here is an example of the type of harassment being dished out toward educators and school boards. The proper way to deal with disagreements would be to run for school board to unseat those who you disagree with. Instead we see the following happening all over the country:
