From a praticial standpoint, the delegates are Biden loyalist. The chances of her winning an open primary are extremely high.

No conspiracy theory here, but the timing of this was odd.

Reporting is that the pressure for him to step down will ramp up from this point forward. That the Schiff annoucement today is just the beginning.

Well, Biden is committed to upholding the idea that the public has a right to know about medical issues with the President. Trump had Covid and still went to the debate in 2020. Didn’t tell anyone until he got so seriously ill he had to be hospitalized.

How many times have we seen it reported that the pressure will mount for him to step down in the next few days? It’s been 2 or 3 times now.

I’m not saying this won’t be the time. But we have been hearing it before.

It’s a valid concern. If that is a big part of what’s keeping him in, I can’t blame him. I like her but I’m not at all convinced she’ll boost the ticket. Bypassing her, though, without her blessing, would be a disaster. This has been my sticking point with a candidate change. There’s just not a clear path forward that I can see. It’s feeling more inevitable, however.

Except that’s not what she’s saying and she even acknowledged that. She’s talking about how they should be perceived from a resiliency standpoint. What makes it a faulty comparison, if that’s what people are looking for, is while the attempt on Trump could have been fatal if not for luck, he was barely injured and playing golf the next day. Both are elderly and the ability to recover from any illness becomes a greater concern. Of course with Trump, we don’t really ever get a transparent look at his health status.

I’m no medical expert, but if he had been exhibiting symptoms of Covid, and he got the test results a short time after this encounter, I would have been more cautious in sending him out there in the interim.

But that’s just me. I prefer we protect our vulnerable.

As it is, we live in a time where everything is going to be met with outrage, so it’s never a surprise. Xitter has become the biggest of social media cesspools. An impressive accomplishment with Facebook in the game.
