    This whole idea that Trump doesn't want Joe to run has to stop. There is zero emperical data that would suggest Republicans want Biden to dropout. It's the opposite.

    I'm with you on this. The polling data is grim, and every time Biden has a chance to "show he's still got it" off script (and even on script lately), it sort of demonstrates the opposite. It's not going to get better. Democratic politicians know this, but they're too afraid to really do anything about it, and Biden for whatever reasons isn't hearing it.

    The whole "debate" on whether Trump would rather run against Biden than almost anyone else reminds me of the Vizzini poison chalice scene in Princess Bride. It's like any evidence that the Trump campaign wants Biden to be the opponent must be some kind of ruse to hide what they *really* want.

    Sigh. Those were Republican and independent voters in every single case. It doesn’t matter how many times you lie about it. And no, it doesn’t matter which law firm represented them, that doesn’t turn the actual plaintiffs into something they are not.
     
    It’s being reported that his symptoms are mild. So, let’s hope it stays that way.

    In and of itself, not necessarily a big deal, but it’s starting to feel like he’s stuck behind the 8 ball. Not much positive coming out of his camp lately. And being sick again is going to play into frailty concerns, fair or not.

    At a time when he needs to be building momentum, he’s going from one setback to the next.

    No conspiracy theory here, but the timing of this was odd.

    Reporting is that the pressure for him to step down will ramp up from this point forward. That the Schiff annoucement today is just the beginning.
