White supremacy or something. Most people will be voting on their pocketbooks which is bad news for Biden.
Strange that it would be so, but if Faux AND the MSM both beat a fake drum about economic woe, it's hard to overcome. Even if the facts are that unemployment is incredibly low, wages are finally starting to outstrip inflation, we're pumping more oil than ever while simultaneously investing in clean energy AND at long last are addressing some of the ancient infrastructure that ought to have been retired with honors decades ago.

Then again, not even that powerful duo can wholly compensate for the widespread anger over abortion. It's been a GOP-killer ever since Dobbs and there's no sign of it slowing down any time soon.

Barring an economic meltdown, I foresee Grampa Joe riding to the White House on the shoulders of millions of truly pissed-off women.

Maybe you should pull yourself up by your bootstraps and stop depending on the government to bail you out.

My pocketbook is doing great because I take personal responsibility rather than blaming my problems on the government.
We shouldn't blame Biden for the trillions of Covid money pumped into the economy that caused the inflation?

I'm not wanting the government to bail me put. I'd rather them not screw things up.

Fake drum? It doesn't seem fake when you go to the grocery store, eating establishments or other stores and see how our money doesn't go as far as it used to.

Sounds more like you’re looking for a handout when the economy around you is doing great.

Maybe if you just worked a little harder and applied yourself, or perhaps paid attention more in school, you wouldn’t be dealing with these financial problems you’re facing.

Covid stimulus was a minor factor on inflation. The biggest factors were serious supply change issues/delays that had never been faced before and all of the people getting/changing jobs after the pandemic. Once those disruptions started to work themselves out, inflation came down.

The positive side of that is that peoples income also increased because of the disruption to the job markets. All in all, it's hard to imagine/conjure up a better economic result (the illusive "soft landing") for the US given the major disruption that was Covid. Things could be much worse, but consumer spending never crashed (likely thanks to the stimulus) and that kept the economy from crashing.

You don't even give me time to respond and you say that? I'll eat crow on this one. I forgot that Trump and Biden signed the big money covid bills. They both deserve blame for the inflation.
It was 2 for Trump compared to 1 for Biden, IIRC. And kudos for at least admitting it.

Apologies for not giving you enough time to respond.

Ok, now that you remember that Trump signed twice as many COVID stimuli as Biden, let's go ahead and apply that to the rest of your argument that you were supporting with that statement. See below:

We shouldn't blame Biden for the trillions of Covid money pumped into the economy that caused the inflation?

So now that we know that Trump signed twice as many COVID stimulus bills as Biden, according to you, we must blame him for inflation, and also that he "screwed things up."

    And finally:

Most people will be voting on their pocketbooks which is bad news for Biden.

So now that we know that inflation is twice as much Trump's fault as Biden's, we can conclude, with your logic, that most people voting on their pocketbooks will, in fact, be bad news for Trump.

Unless, of course, you think that most people are like you and will "forget" that COVID stimulus was Trump's fault.

it is really rich that the folks who chanted “lock her up” for years and still chant that about anyone and everyone they don’t like - without any crimes being charged, btw - are now all up in arms when their criminal overlord actually is looking at the consequences of his criminal acts.

It should embarrass every single one of them, but they are evidently completely incapable of feeling shame.
