The party that claims to be the protector of democracy has now fixed 2 primaries in 2016 and 2020 against Bernie and it looks like they will rig this process as well to try to prevent giving the delegates any choices.

It looks like the plan is to fall behind Harris. Voters obviously didn't vote for her. You would think if you are protecting democracy that you wouldn't use a process that allows the elites to pick the candidate as opposed to the voters.

I voted for Harris, and for Biden in the primary. The Biden / Harris ticket is what I voted for, so I get Harris, and Biden retires.

Even his eventual retirement was part of the deal as I understood it from the begining in 2020.


Just because your party likes to hang their VP after a loss, that doesn't mean we have to hang our VP.

AOC isn't part of the Democratic party establishment. She runs against the establishment.

That's the whole point of the "Squad" she's a member of.

So there is no conflict between the two clauses trying to compete in that tweet.

He has, and he does support her. The reason he hasn't done it now is he's going to give that endorsement in a big way, at the convention, like he did it in 2020 for Biden.

Obama believes that as a past President he should not enter into the primary politics with an endorsement. But once the primary vote is done, watch out, his endorsement for Harris will be something to look forward to.

Not at all. I just read something on Twitter and this guy was saying he believes that Michelle Obama is going to end up in the ticket.

On the surface I would find this to be a dumb comment since she has never expressed and interest.

Then I looked on here and saw the post about who has come out to endorse Harris.

At that point the little twitcher in my conspiracy theory alarm moved. Then the ting I saw with AOC and it twitched again lol.

On a personal note I could see Obama interesting me a little. I could see a lot more support for her than Harris.

I would also say while I don’t agree with all the policies of President Obama he was presidential, he was a good leader. He wasn’t like anything we have had since he left office and since so much of our elections have been my team vs your team. So I think she could be good for the country and maybe bring a little civility back.

Actually there have been rumblings that a small group of people who were pivotal in the movement to oust Biden didn’t want Harris / want to force a contested convention. I believe that was speculated to be certain big donors and known to be those affiliated with the Pass the Torch PAC like Dean Philips and Andrew Yang.

Where Semper and the Twitter account have it wrong is AOC isn’t being a hypocrite for posting the warning then immediately supporting Harris. AOC supported Biden, supports Harris, and has been one of the members encouraging unity and focusing on defeating Trump and MAGA.

Outside of the MAGA bubble, Biden has received appreciation for the job he’s done from American citizens to world leaders. The 3.5 years BS you keep shoveling looks ridiculous coming from anybody who has supported Trump over the last eight years. Trump has been a case study in all the wrong traits and abilities. I’m going to assume you support him (who really knows why) without ever paying close enough attention to him. Maybe you just hate the left enough that the whats and whys don’t even matter. Dozens of people who have worked with Trump are telling people he’s unfit. If they can’t convince you, I know I can’t convince you.
