I feel like this deserves a separate topic.
What will be the plan for the DNC?

She wasn't offered anything. Biden dropped out and now AOC supports Harris for president. It isn't anything more than that. Harris gives them the best shot to win now and she recognizes that.

She supported Biden. When overwhelming support came out for Harris after the announcement, it is possible she saw Harris had the support and was wrong. It isn’t like AOC is all knowing in the party.
What AOC wants more than anything is for Trump to lose. She would probably endorse a telephone pole if that meant he would lose.

All of that seems likely. So what’s the problem with the clip and how I’ve explained it? Why would she endorse a Harris ticket at that time when Biden was still the nominee and she supported him as the nominee?

I think what's happening here is, you are not used to seeing disagreement among party members. In the GOP, you are either a boot licker or a pariah (see Cheney, Romney). Among the DNC, people are allowed to have differing views and opinions on different issues.

Also, in the great scheme of things, AOC is a minor player. She represents a district that's more water than land, in a part of NY that isn't monied. The main reason she's that much in the news, XTwitter, etc. is the GOP's obsession with AOC.
