I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

Are we celebrating our fleet being sunk by a surprise attack by a cowardly enemy and how we as a nation picked up and created a war machine the world has never seen? We won. We are celebrating American tenacity and an American victory. When you win, hard to be a victim.
We’re not celebrating anything on Pearl Harbor Day. We’re honoring the victims, just like on 9/11.

I imagine you prefer soldiers who don’t get killed.

I didn't say racism, I said white supremacy. There is plenty of racism in this country, it just might surprise you where it comes from.

Why do we have days to 'celebrate' indigenous people? What exactly are we celebrating? What did they accomplish that we need to celebrate?
You answered your own question. Yes, just more victimhood. They are 'victims' so of course in our current climate, we must celebrate them simply because they are victims.

Where does the racism come from? I'm interested to learn where it really comes from.

America did not win on December 7th. Lots of Americans died that day. There was no victory. Why are you trying to spin Pearl Harbor Day into some kind of victory to celebrate? Just how detached from reality are you?

And I'm still waiting on your sources and proof that there is more fake racism than real racism. Or white supremacy. Either term makes no difference to me.

    Article about bias in forensics
    =======================

…..Another recent study in the Journal of Forensic Sciences found that, in actual case work, pathologists who examined 10 years of children’s death certificates in Nevada were much more likely to declare a child’s death a homicide rather than an accident when the child was Black.

Corroborating these findings, the researchers presented pathologists with a hypothetical postmortem examination of a young child.

The pathologists were many times more likely to find the child’s death to be a homicide than an accident, based on identical medical evidence, if told that the child was Black and the caretaker was the mother’s boyfriend than when told that the child was White and the caretaker was the child’s grandmother.

Responding to the study, vocal forensic pathologists sought to bury the research and the researchers. They first demanded that the journal retract the peer-reviewed article, then asked the journal’s publisher to censor it, and finally filed ethics complaints against the forensic pathologists and neuroscientist who co-authored the article.

The efforts failed, but the effect was chilling……

You have once again proven that racism exists.

Duh. That seems to be a odd way to to phrase a hypothetical doesn't it? Almost like the example was created to receive a predetermined outcome.
I think actual data and statistics should be taken into account.

Racism comes from all communities. I don't think black are more racist than whites just like I don't believe whites are more racist than black. Who is more racist is the talking heads that 'publicly speak for their communities'.

I thought the WW2 lasted longer than a day, can you show me where the war was over on 12.7? Because I specifically said it was a show of American tenacity and perseverance. The battle may be lost but the war continues and all that.

Maybe we should start a thread on fake racism/hate crimes? That would be interesting.

Almost like the example was created to receive a predetermined outcome.
That's the thing, though. If that wording leads to a predetermined outcome, then that demonstrates a bias in medical examiners. Those things should be irrelevant to the medical examiner.

I don't think black are more racist than whites just like I don't believe whites are more racist than black.

I don't understand this line of thinking. Maybe on a specific individual level, but as a group?

Who enslaved who? Who traded who? Who segregated who? Who committed genocide against who? Who redlined who? Who overpoliced who? Who War on Drugs'd who?

    Also, both sides!

Your white guilt is showing again.

Brandon: All racial groups are equally racist. To assume one group is more racist than another is actually racist. The difference here is power. Racism with no power causes less damage.

December 7th isn't a day to commemorate WWII. Here is an excerpt of what people do on that day:

On the direction of the President, the flag of the United States of America should be displayed on the homes of Americans, the White House and all United States government buildings. The flag should be flown at half-mast to honor those who died in the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Many associations, especially those linked with Pearl Harbor survivors or those who died from the attack, participate in special services to commemorate the event. Memorial services are held at venues such as the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor. Other activities include: wreath-laying ceremonies; keynote speeches by those associated with the event; luncheons; media stories on survivors’ recollections of the Pearl Harbor attack; and school activities to educate students about the attack on Pearl Harbor in relation to World War II history.

So according to you, that day is celebrating "victimhood", otherwise flags should be flown high, not at half mast.

Now you say racism comes from all communities. How do you show this? Are there some disparate outcomes of this supposed racism from all communities? Is the white homeownership rate less than that of blacks? Do asian people get turned down for business loans more than Hispanics when both have the same credentials?

Do you have anything that concretely bears out this supposed "racism from everybody" you speak of?

I'm also still waiting for something that shows fake racism occurs more than real racism. I've asked 3 times. You're getting close to troll territory. Are you just a racist internet troll?

Brandon: All racial groups are equally racist. To assume one group is more racist than another is actually racist. The difference here is power. Racism with no power causes less damage.

Well why is there a difference in power? What's the cause of that?

As other countries show, population demographics can't be the excuse. So what is it?

Well why is there a difference in power? What's the cause of that?
That is the 64 K question. Throughout world history some groups have conquered others. I would suggest you read Jared Diamond.
As other countries show, population demographics can't be the excuse. So what is it?
    Technology, geography, read Jared Diamond

Racism derives from power holders based upon a social construct called race. As opposed to bigotry which can arise from anywhere.

Yeah, many say racism without power is just bigotry. Where does power come from?
Really? Violence. Political economy violence. Law enforcement violence. Invasion and movement of native persons. Need some more?
