I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

A jackass impersonating a teacher, yes.

So all teachers are jackasses impersonating teachers ... got it. Make sense with the anti-intellectualism that is pervasive on the right.

You know, we really have to come to some kind of agreement here. There's no way in hell that we're going to put up with your accusations, and there's no way in hell that you will quit with your accusations.

How are we going to solve this?

We're not. The way we solve it is for you and others on the right to stop acting that way, so that I don't have to make those observations. You're not going to stop acting like that (neither are others), so I will in all likelihood keep making those observations when appropriate.

Point out where I said ALL teachers.

You and I need to get a lot more granular. Pick something that's been grinding your gears and let's resolve it.

I subscribe to a more "MRT" way of thinking: Mutual Respect Theory. Can we both agree that if we (including the left) put as much effort into MRT as the left puts into CRT. that we would have better results all around?
    I’m fine with mutual respect.

I feel you are not treating my post with respect by consistently dodging and refusing to engage with it in good faith. Please show me the respect of answering my actual question, rather than creating diversions to sidetrack the thread.

    Respectfully,
Brandon (you know, someone who’s very name is disrespected by republicans as a matter of course.)

but if you want to teach that, thats where it will not fly. to say everyone is equal is being woke..
No it isn't. Being woke means that I accept biological men as women because they believe they are women and they demand that I refer to them as women.

That’s it? That’s the entirety of wokeness to you?

    .

As per usual, you will use this to make an illogical leap to a conclusion that isn’t warranted.
Nope, you beat me to it with all the could have and would haves again proving reality has not bearing on our discussions.

You do have a point there.

Bring it up again and we'll discuss it.

You know that nearly 17% of the state lacks internet access, right? And that a bunch of rural post offices were closed not too long ago?
Can the white people that live there get IDs or is it just the darker skinned people that can't figure it out?
Do you get upset when you go to Disney world because they ask you to stand in line as well?

I never made such a judgment. Having to stand in a line all day is equally vexing to everyone. What is disproportionate is the staffing in urban centers where... surprise... you'll find many minorities and Democrat voters.
Does this happen only in Red states?

You do? Then why don't you test that out? You could start with a poll right here in the forum.

It could look something like this:

"Republicans and Conservatives: Would you support a movement that involved mutual respect between everyone?"

You would get a definitive yes from me if you did do that.

Something tells me 'mutual respect' would be defined as "shut up about racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, police abuse, abortion, corporate corruption, hypocrisy and do what we say, if you do that we'll get along fine"

well, talking to the people in line at the DMV, it seems to be a very common issue.

We all know the ineptness of the DMV to begin with. In many states, Alabama for example, they closed many DMVs in the minority areas, making harder for them to take care of things, so add that on top of the already ineptness. And like i said earlier, when groups put together programs to help people get this done, they are accused of being ballot harvesters or now the newly popular "Mule"..
So you think they close locations due to voter supression and there is no other reason? Can you show me what locations were closed in Alabama?
If it is a common problem with a poorly run civil service, it sounds like it affects white people too, so maybe racism is not the main reason?

    Something is telling you wrong.

What I am against is singling out conservatives, and white conservatives, when discussing racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, police abuse, abortion, corporate corruption and hypocrisy.

It's not singling out. It's just pointing out when it happens.

It just so happens that white conservatives tend to be the most frequent offenders.
