I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

The fact that people are managing to vote doesn’t mean that Rs didn’t make it harder. This is really elementary logic. Rs in Georgia admitted they were trying to suppress voter turnout. They said it out loud (at least one election official did). Your position is illogical.

Except they didn't and they don't. The MLB scandal proved that. They moved the allstar game as a virtue signal and moved it to a state that had more stringent voter laws. How does that make sense?

You know you can go online and renew your license and have a new one mailed out to you, right?

not always. If you have moved, have lost or damaged liscense, expired more than 10 days, only renew my mail every other time, if you are equired to take any tests,, have any flags, etc. (I have had multiple times a flag on my liscense because i sold a vehile, and done everything correct but the person i sod it to didn't register it, got a ticket and it showed up on me even though i had all documents of proof, but that can't be proven online or by mail)
One I have the most problem with is having to show proof of insurance. How do i show proof of insurance if i don't own a car?
Then if there are programs to help people get these things done, yall complan that its vote harvesting....

I just renewed mine a few weeks ago and mine expired back in August. I wouldn't have known if I wasn't carded for pipe tobacco.
Sure, there are exceptions for example, my reissue is not the federal star approved one but I have a passport for when I fly. But I can vote.

When i had a flag on my license, NONE of the area DMVs (Ascension, Livingston, St James, etc) have that service to get it fixed, only the one in Baton Rouge. which by the way is by appointment only, like 3 or 4 weeks out. you can see how "not so easy" it can be for a lot of people.

so, even with a 3 to 4 week appointment window, you can do it now and still be ready to vote in 2024, so I don't see your point.

This has nothing to do with the changes that were made to voting laws. They did make it harder. They closed locations and shortened early voting. They wanted to do more, but got so much backlash that they took out the worst restrictions. You have no leg to stand on here.

At the time they made the changes - with the express intent of making sure the record turnout of 2020 didn’t happen again - it was predicted that such transparent efforts to keep democrats from voting would be met with even more determination to vote.

And, as far as I know, we don’t know that the areas targeted by voting restrictions are the ones with the high turnout. At least I haven’t seen it specified where the high turnout is coming from yet.

As per usual, you will use this to make an illogical leap to a conclusion that isn’t warranted.

So the color of ones skin determines how impactful it is on you a person to stand in a line? Come on, you are better than that. That is bigotry of low expectations.

I never made such a judgment. Having to stand in a line all day is equally vexing to everyone. What is disproportionate is the staffing in urban centers where... surprise... you'll find many minorities and Democrat voters.

well, talking to the people in line at the DMV, it seems to be a very common issue.

We all know the ineptness of the DMV to begin with. In many states, Alabama for example, they closed many DMVs in the minority areas, making harder for them to take care of things, so add that on top of the already ineptness. And like i said earlier, when groups put together programs to help people get this done, they are accused of being ballot harvesters or now the newly popular "Mule"..

VERMILION, Ohio (WOIO) - Vermilion police are investigating reports of assault, underage drinking, and racial slurs being used at a Fireland High School football player’s house party. The school district has launched its own investigation.

On Monday 19 Investigates received the body camera video from the police. The footage is heavily redacted because there were so many minors involved in the incident.

A couple of weeks ago 19 News spoke with a teenage girl who was at the party and claimed to have witnessed the only Black kid there getting bullied, called racial slurs, and knocked unconscious.

In the body camera video, the kids on the football team deny any of that happened.

“Did somebody get knocked out?” the player’s mom asked. “Were you guys fighting or something?”

“There was a boxing match with boxing gloves,” one of the kids replied.

“We got a report that there was two separate assaults,” an officer said. “One came home and advised his parents that he was assaulted here and another one was still here and unconscious that’s why we’re here right now.”

Vermilion police responded to a home on North Ridge Road on August 14.

“There’s an African American kid here they’re all throwing racial slurs at him and he was just knocked unconscious,” said Ella Wojciechowski, who attended the party.

Ella Wojciechowski went to a party at a Fireland football player’s house. She claimed many of the kids there were throwing around the n-word.

Ella said when the only Black kid at the party tried to tell the other kids to stop using that word one of the partygoers put the black teen in a chokehold and forced him to call him master or “massa”. Ella said she held her phone down and recorded it.

“I was hearing call me massa and all yelling massa and everybody around them is screaming the n-word at him,” said Ella.

She claimed the Black teen who was very drunk was then pressured into a boxing match with another teen and was knocked unconscious.

In the body camera video, you can hear police talk with the homeowner, one of the player’s mothers who was home throughout the party.

“So, I know they have one Black friend and so somebody said that they were calling him ni**** and whatever,” the mom said.

“They…they were just joking around,” one of the kids added.

19 News has learned the party was hosted at the home of a retired law enforcement officer. I spoke with him on the phone. He denied there was any alcohol served to minors at his home and said he doesn’t believe any of the kids there would do or say anything racist, but officers on the scene seemed to believe minors had been drinking at his home that night.

“There’s empty beer cans, bottles, boxing gloves, fireballs, individual fireballs,” one officer said.

“The one that I was talking to I smelled plenty,” said another officer...........

Hell, I'm pretty damn sure you couldn't describe CRT in your own words if your life depended on it. I subscribe to a more "MRT" way of thinking: Mutual Respect Theory. Can we both agree that if we (including the left) put as much effort into MRT as the left puts into CRT. that we would have better results all around?

It could look something like this:

"Republicans and Conservatives: Would you support a movement that involved mutual respect between everyone?"

You would get a definitive yes from me if you did do that.
