I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

Just google it. I feel like no matter which link I post, you will say its a liberal site.. Coincidence they closed them in the higher black populated areas just as a new law is going into effect.. ok, sure, thats just coincidence....
so the only cause in your mind is racism and the GOP? I don't buy that and I will need actual proof. If actual proof is provided that these satellite locations were closed because black people used them, then I am there with you making sure all those that did it are voted out of office. Until then, I don't trust the sources that have flat out lied over the last 7 years.

I live in Ascension Parish. There are about 10 polling locatons within a few miles of each other. Many right across the street from each other. It takes me under 10 minutes to vote at my location. I have worked the polls at 3 different one, all the same, mere minutes for people to vote.
When i lived in Baton Rouge, my polling location was 15 minutes away and it would never take less than an hour to vote ...
Yeah, I wait in line a hour or 2 to vote. I don't think racism is at play though.

Can the white people that live there get IDs or is it just the darker skinned people that can't figure it out?

Did I ever say someone couldn't figure it out? No. If you have access to three post office locations and two DMV locations within ten miles of your house and my nearest post office and DMV locations are in another county, it's a lot easier for you to get your photo ID and your mail than it is for me. Do you agree with this assessment?

Do you get upset when you go to Disney world because they ask you to stand in line as well?

What a stupid forking example. Riding Space Mountain isn't a requirement to participate in the institution that we are all guaranteed a right to participate in and that forms the very bedrock of our government.

Yeah, I wait in line a hour or 2 to vote. I don't think racism is at play though.

Assuming you haven't moved lately, you live in an area that elected a Democrat to the state house and senate and we live in a majority African American city, so... yeah. You're the collateral damage. Nobody cares if your vote is suppressed because you are in the minority in your district- a fact that tears you up inside is my guess.

I think that's quite enough, lol. there is no way in hell that any reasonable thinking person is going to take you seriously when you refer to Trump as the "Orange Savior". Your obsession with this guy is obvious.

You need professional help, and fast.
Oh, there are a lot of other things that I could refer to trump as but they violate the TOS here. Additionally, trump supporters, which you are most assuredly one, treat a known pathological and habitual liar like their savior. Anytime professionals will risk their livelihood and actual freedom to follow a known liar, yeah, that's making someone your savior. I'm not obsessed with trump. I'm concerned that weak minded people who are too dimwitted to think for themselves will follow their orange savior right over the cliff to fascism. You appear to be one of those loyal fools.
What's delusional about understanding that the gist of CRT is the belief that whites are oppressing blacks?
I said in a previous post that you couldn't define CRT in your own words if your life depended on it. You'd be dead right now. You have not clue of what CRT actually is other than what you have been told to believe. That statement is a strong indication that you only believe what your party tells you to believe.

You're not interested in any actual intellectual discussion. You're here to push already proven lies over and over again while simultaneously ignoring anything that doesn't comport with what you already believe. You've already pretty much said as much.

Sorry, pal. I've had my own issues with democrats but all of it pales in comparison to what you people harbor against Trump. It's not normal, nor is it healthy.

It doesn't matter what I know or what I don't know about CRT. What DOES matter is what you people are trying to put into America's schools.

Now, I will give you the same challenge I gave to another poster in this forum: Share the parts of CRT that you think would be appropriate for US schools (grades K-12), and we'll discuss it.
You're not interested in any actual intellectual discussion.
Sure I am. I'm just not interested in following lefties down their rabbit holes. I'm interested in discussing actual issues, not my knowledge on a given subject. My knowledge will manifest through the course of a debate, not upon your demands.

You have the challenge that I just gave you. I suggest you answer that.

Longtime watchdogs of antisemitism say there is nothing new about the kinds of derogatory comments about Jews that the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, former president Donald Trump, sundry far-right political candidates and others have made in recent weeks.

But what has struck some experts is how blatant the comments about Jews are at a time when incidents of harassment, vandalism and violence against them have been at their highest levels since at least the 1970s. Recent data already showed that a majority of American Jews fear violence against them.

“Empirically, something is different. The level of public animosity towards Jews is higher than it’s been in recent memory,” Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, said in an interview.

Experts said the climate is the product of a stew of forces including a digital culture that spreads misinformation and hate and right-wing political forces focused on protecting White Christians’ status.

Some said current antisemitism is also aggravated by more people downplaying it as merely an interreligious issue instead of a dangerous form of racism; in the past majorities from Germany to America made clear they saw Jews as a distinct and inferior race…….

Do you think the following is a possibility?

an NBC analysis found that many “CRT” battles are located in school districts where the white population is losing its majority status. Some “CRT” debates carry echoes of white nationalist replacement theory; the term “Critical Race Theory” is being used by some as way to avoid saying “I don’t like all this Black stuff the school is doing.”

I'm the other poster. I did exactly as you have asked. You have not yet discussed it. I await your thoughts.

A California holocaust museum says it has been barraged with antisemitic messages after Kanye West refused a private tour.

The Holocaust Museum of Los Angeles says it has been flooded with abuse since it invited the rapper to visit amid his antisemitism controversy.
West rejected the offer during an appearance on the now-deleted Drink Champs podcast and told the hosts that Planned Parenthood was “our Holocaust Museum.”

Despite his string of antisemitic comments, the museum’s CEO said that they offered the tour in the hope it would change the disgraced rapper’s mind.

“We know for a fact that education is the greatest catalyst for change,” Beth Kean told CBS Los Angeles. “When students and visitors come to the museum if they enter as bystanders they leave as upstanders. We know that.”............

What a stupid forking example. Riding Space Mountain isn't a requirement to participate in the institution that we are all guaranteed a right to participate in and that forms the very bedrock of our government.
However, since it is a requirement that we are all guaranteed a right to participate in and forms the very bedrock of our government, I think you can agree then that since this is such an important task given to us by our founders that we should be able to handle being mildly inconvenienced in order for that to happen.
To me, this argument is being made out of a dislike for you to be inconvenienced and as usual, use minorities as a false champion. Besides, this only has to be done once every 4 years and can be done on-line and likely than not, everyone already has an ID because you already need it for just about everything in our society.

Truer words have not been spoken by you but that won't stop you from attempting to gaslight with your ignorance.
    Well, can't say I didn't try.

At least we have a better understanding of the cowardice behind your dodging my challenge.

So you point is this only really affects those recently moved into the area and new drivers, who can't vote to being with?
I don't look it at that way. I look at it as if the state or federal government is put in charge of something, it will be a disaster and I expect an unorganized shirt show. I also bring my own water and snack if I feel like I might perish in line as I really don't expect anything from the dolts in charge.

You know, government doesn't always get everything wrong. It can get things right too, if you have decent and competent people in charge. You guys on the right need to stop treating government with disdain, hatred and fear because it only allows the people that y'all elect and represent you to abuse their power and have no accountability at all. That's horrible for all of society. If you guys valued efficient, responsive and diligent governance more than y'all championed demagogic and disruptive governance from your representatives, things would be much better for us all. But things keep getting worse, all while y'all elect the worst possible people to represent you (people who have no desire to make government work and only want to cause disruption), and then you wonder why things are so bad.

Voting doesn't need to be inconvenient to be secure. It doesn't need to be restrictive to be secure. It doesn't need to include intimidation at voter drop boxes or polling place to be secure. Maybe y'all can just stop hating Democrats so much to recognize that we have a diverse population and they're going to win elections, just like Republican's do.

"Voting is so important to the nation that people should be inconvenienced" is the dumbest forking take I've heard from you, and that's saying a lot, considering you just compared standing in a voting line to standing in line at an amusement park.

No. And this has nothing to do with what I said, so congratulations for being led to water, having the trough of water pointed out to you, having your face shoved into it, and still failing to drink from it.
