Many of Trump's endorsed candidates did not do well on Nov. 8th.

Gov. Ron DeSantis DID do well.
He won convincingly.
Yet in this OP's opinion, Donald Trump is an egomaniac who is seemingly incapable of putting "Party over Self"
Trump has ZERO chance of being elected our next president.
In my opinion, if Trump would just shut up and go away (fat chance of that)...but "if" Trump did that, Gov. Ron DeSantis would have a CHANCE to be a formidable candidate for President in 2024.

Trump vs DeSantis would be moderately close in my humble opinion. Both men have large support. Personally I don't care for either and I'm still not 100% sure Trump is even going to run. We'll see.

Trump has already announced he's running. I suppose he could change his mind, but that ain't happening. He'd rather croak than drop out imo.

His advisors have let him down. He should have realized on his own that any support he had, prior to 2020, will leave him hanging once the primaries start.

Okay, I‘m not really familiar with Cornell West, but what little bit I am seeing has reassured me a bit. I don’t think he will be taking a lot of Biden votes.

Actually, I think he’s probably just trying to raise his profile and will fold and throw his support behind Biden before the general.

If that's that case, he should stay out then. Anyone committing to voting for Trump at any point cares more about the Party than the country.

As distasteful as it is, I'd much rather Pence than either Trump or DeSantis.
