Biden has lost support from many people who voted for him in the past.
He is getting up there in age.
Here are a couple of sites I'd like to share...

WHAT DO ANY OF YOU THINK?
IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY BEST SERVED BY HAVING PRESIDENT BIDEN RUN FOR ANOTHER TERM OR WOULD A DIFFERENT CANDIDATE BE BETTER?

She is speaking rapidly, clearly, and confidently. The crowd seems energized and engaged. The ABC anchor has now come on and said that this seems like a Presidential campaign speech. The anchor said she admits that this is possibly because Biden is weak and Obama has called for Biden to step down....and potentially Harris might be the future top of the ticket.

    But then I see this:

In 2020, FiveThirtyEight had Biden up by a huge amount.

I don’t know if it is true, but I just listened to a debate about whether Biden should drop out on Intelligence Squared, and the pro leave debater stated that 538 is the most bullish on Biden. If so, that isn’t comforting that even that site has Biden barely leading.

Regarding the I^2 debate, a question was asked what would change their minds. There was agreement among the debaters that Biden needs to get out to do more spontaneous events to prove himself.

The pro remain debater made a good point that Biden needs to work less and campaign more. He also thinks other candidates will create division, while Biden is the most unifying.

The leave debater said she wants someone who can prosecute the case against Trump more effectively. She also said a new candidate will create excitement. She also stated that improved polling would change her mind.

Regarding divisions, I think people are more anti-Trump than anti any new candidate. Regarding Biden getting out more, I think he has done a few since the debate, but they aren’t changing opinions enough, since there have been some additional gaffs to negate the good.

I think the polls after the DNC are the ones to pay attention to. It's still to soon to put much stock in polling imo.
Yes, and especially with what I just found out about this """poll""". << That's my ultimate scare quote.

Muller She Wrote is Allison Gill, she has cread with me. She is quoting someone else who I've been considering following. I would think the second person who is being quoted appears to have the training in math and statistics to know what she's talking about.

I agree with both of their evaluation once I heard that the poll was a N=1000, where the state by state was handled as sub samples. That't the classic way that a polling house can imply a much better error factor than actually exists.

To clear up what I'm saying is this, if true is an indication of less than ethical behaviour on the part of the polling house. Emerson Polling is moved from the lousy polling house category, to the scuzzy polling house category, because they are presenting an indication that they're cooking the books. It true they know better than to do that.

If true??? I want conformation about the procedure they used, I haven't gotten that far into this to know this happened for sure.

What I see in the last two are old article which have current renal updates. They basically haven't changed, it's stale news.

I didn't pruse the first link because it's a UK source for whom I've always had the criticism that they are too shrill.

The first link is to a story which is new, however It's mostly made of new narrative. Reading it relaxed me, rather than exciting me, nor did it create a wall of fear.

Moving on to the next link, it was a sleazy made to appear like mess, narrative was pretending to be facts. Next!

There is no Next! I ignore the daily beast, always.

You did say you can do this all day. I expect you realize about now that I can do this all day too.

Much like we said overturning Roe v Wade was going to be a "Dog that caught the care, what now?" situation for the GOP I believe that Dems would be in the same boat if Biden does withdraw
I appreciate your post and would like to reinforce what I posted earlier today.
I saw Kamala Harris speaking LIVE to cheering and supportive folks this afternoon.
I was watching on ABC but afterwards, ABC said other networks aired her speech as well.
Anyway, she did a great job!
    She spoke with confidence!
    She made persuasive points!
I think she might surprise people and give Trump a run for his money.

    I regret I said I that.
My wife is coming home from work any moment and I need to get off my laptop and spend time with her.
    There ARE more stories.
Just enter into Google: "Obama calls for Biden to drop out...or step down...or whatever."
Google provides a HUGE amount of options sir.

Additionally it has been pointed out that many organizations have reached out to Obama for comment and he has not responded. If it wasn't true I imagine he would set the record straight.

I laughed because as I read your post I noticed that Steve loved your post.

Perhaps either I, or Steve are misreading it. I say that because our stands disagree, therefore how on earth could Steve love it while I also like it.

Liked it, while I laughed at Steve's loving it because I read your post carefully, and in the second sentence I think that perhaps Steve saw a 'don't,' which is not there, instead of reading that word as "does" which is what is actually there.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

    :)

Steve I check the Google news index several times a day. But thanks for your advice, the thought showing behind it was appreciated.

I agree with you about Harris, I'm a super dooper booster for her.

I'm quoting my own here because I have looked into it and have found that the premise that the polling house did as those Twitter sources is false.

Emmerson didn't do as that source that Allison Gill quoted said they did. That second source will not be followed by me. Gill still will continue to be followed.

However that doesn't boost Emerson Polling to the top, they go back to being a lousy polling house in my book. Not a scuzzy one.

No he shouldn’t run. The intense demands of the job are grinding him down. At 81 it will only accelerate. There is a solid bench. I like governor. Just to name a few. Beshear, Shapiro, Whitmer, Polis, Walz top my list. Open the floor at the convention.
