Harris VP watch (7 Viewers)

But it's funny that now Vance wants to run the "Kamala didn't pick Shapiro because she's anti-semitic." If the GOP is so pro-Jewish, why haven't they ever nominated one to be on a Presidential ticket?
HA! Presidential ticket??? Out of the 535 members of Congress, there are only TWO Republican Jewish members. Not. At. All. Surprised.
Although Jews make up just 2% of the U.S. population, nearly 7% of the new Congress is Jewish, with 37 Jews among the total of 535 lawmakers. In the Senate, the 10 Jewish members comprise 10% of that body; Jews comprise 7% of the House.

Nine Jews in the Senate are Democrats, and the 10th, Bernie Sanders, is an Independent. In the House. all but three members are Democrats. The Republican exceptions are Max Miller (R-OH) and David Kustoff, (R-TN).

This guy is spot on, especially after listening to Walz’s speech tonight.

I read the article, and I think it made a few good points:

“Shapiro would have taken Pennsylvania off the table,”

"Shapiro, according to this line of thought, would have been more controversial within the party, if more strategically sound for winning the election"

(To me this was a risky move, but also difficult one to make. Do they pick Shapiro just to secure PA? (D)s must be very confident that they can still win PA w/o him as VP but it is/was almost too tempting not to pick him *IF* it meant all but guaranteeing PA)

Republicans wanted Roe v. Wade overturned, they got what they wanted.
Republicans demanded Biden drop out of the race, they got what they wanted.
Republicans wanted a black woman to replace Biden, they got what they wanted.
Republicans wanted Walz as the VP, they got what they wanted.

The only problem I'm seeing here is for the Republicans.

If you keep repeating anti-Harris rumors while acknowledging they are rumors while never repeating any negative known facts about Trump, then yeah...you a Trump supporter.
I don’t know what to tell you. I’ve shared anti-Trump news and have shared that I am never going to vote for him, but believe what you want.

I think picking Shapiro would have risked the type of unity we are seeing with Walz as the pick. Everyone from Sanders to Manchin has come out in support of Walz. Plus if what I read is true, Walz told Harris he has no desire to run for President in 8 years. All he wants to do is help her win and govern. Shapiro has loftier goals, as he should, but it makes for a less comfortable relationship, IMO.

Walz’s appeal will translate to rural areas in any state, IMO. And I think the R’s who are celebrating the pick look foolish. They will soon realize it.

I believe what you actually do the overwhelming majority of the time and not your very few and far between token efforts only after your Trump support is pointed out.

Nearly all of your posts are negative stuff about Democrats and you do it at a horse skeleton beating level.

Why is it so hard for Trump supporters to admit their obvious support for Trump? Why is everything in Trump and Republican world so constantly dependent on deception?

TBF, the Democrats are counting on men and white women to vote for a woman (black, Indian, Jamaican, what have you), can they get that to happen?

I believe what you actually do and not what you claim you do. You only post negative stuff about Democrats and you do it a lot.

Why is it so hard for Trump supporters to admit their obvious support for Trump? Why is everything in Trump and Republican world so constantly dependent on deception?
I couldn’t tell you why it’s hard for them to admit their obvious support, I haven’t voted Republican since Romney.

Says a lot about you that you ask that question in the way that you did. Keep showing everyone your Trump support while claiming you don't support Trump. Keep showing everyone that everything about Trump is deceitful.

I can always tell when I've struck a chord of truth about you, because you respond like a hornet that's just had its nest kicked.

It says a lot about a person when they ask questions.

You aren’t striking a hornets nest with me, we are simply engaging in conversation from my point of view.

So can they?

The question you asked and how you asked it says a lot about you. Let me remind you in case you forgot the question you asked and how you asked it:

Some people on Twitter are harrumphing that Walz used the phrase “if he can get up off the couch and get to a debate” as if that is somehow “dirty pool”. Saying that isn’t Midwest Nice at all. I’m here to tell you that is the very definition of Midwest Nice, lol.
