Looks like the fight is on with Israeli soldiers and civilians amongst the dead already. Question becomes, how long before we get dragged into this?

Do you believe it is practical, legal and feasible for Biden to end all support (economic and militarily) of Israel? Is that the only action that will address the concerns, outrage and demands of those protesting all over the country? Is that in the best long term interest of the United States?

You understand that changing hearts and minds isn't like switching a light switch on and off? How did the LGBT movement gain acceptance? It isn't because Obama stood on his bully pulpit. The LGBT movement used the legal system and appropriate PR mechanism. It took years, and not folks gluing their hands to the pavement.

I agree. But this isn't something new to Biden. And it isn't new to Obama either when he pushed for a two state solution only to be labeled an antisemite. You get what I'm getting at? That attacking Biden when he's trying his best to minimize more damage to the Palestinians and localize the conflict is counter-productive to your cause? He is about to take unprecedented action against the IDF. He's already sanctioned West Bank settlers. You cannot realistically expect drastic measures when ONLY half of Americans support Palestinians.

That's never going to happen and this country would never support that. I don't want us invading any more middle east countries at all.

But I think this highlight the unrealistic expectations that many who are protesting have. If Trump wins as a result, all it will have accomplished is turning our own country into a worse version of Israel. I country led by right wing nationalist who have the strongest military in the world under their command.

It was obvious what Israel was going to do. We shouldn't get to pretend we are shocked at what has happened in the past 6 months.

We are at the point where drastic measures are the only option left. We should absolutely cut off all aid to Israel immediately.

Infact, Trump doesn't really care about anything but himself, so the first time he asked Bibi to do something and Bibi told him no, he'd flip on Israel.
