Senator Warnock won in a special election to fill the remainder of Johnny Isakson's seat - which expires January 2023. This means the seat is up for election in 2022, where Warnock will run as the incumbent and the GOP field that is now led by former running back Hershel Walker, who has been enthusiastically endorsed by Donald Trump.

It's really sad commentary on the state of politics in this nation that it's a competitive race.

When you are caught in a lie and your adult son calls you a liar along with the mother of your kids in the national media and you continue to lie and enjoy the outspokenly strong public support of one of the political parties, that should tell you everything you need to know about the people in that party and what they stand for. We already know but for anyone who didn't, this tells you what you need to know.

You can only have that twisted of a view of things when you're a Republican Christian and grow up with that hypocritical reality. Hopefully he'll start to question some things now and find his way out of that toxic mess.

Based on his description of himself he is bisexual. Based on the acronym LBGTQ, gay is distinct from bisexual, so perhaps he is just admitting to being bi-sexual, but not gay.
