    Senator Warnock won in a special election to fill the remainder of Johnny Isakson's seat - which expires January 2023. This means the seat is up for election in 2022, where Warnock will run as the incumbent and the GOP field that is now led by former running back Hershel Walker, who has been enthusiastically endorsed by Donald Trump.

    I saw this and realized it is Hersel Walker 100%. I have no doubt his mental illness has caused him to be a pathological liar..

    They should have put this at the front of the story, because this is really the crux of it.

    ===============
    The woman continued that she hopes her story makes other people feel less alone, “to maybe find comfort and a sense of dignity.”

    “You’re not a monster, not a murderer,” she continued. “These are real life decisions that can completely change your life. Making it so black-and-white makes it easy for these old men to say it’s wrong or it’s right, but they’ve never been put in a position where it’s done to their body.”

    She said it was wrong, however, for Walker to use abortion when it suited him personally and try to deny others the procedure when it suits him politically.

    “He didn’t accept responsibility for the kid we did have together, and now he isn’t accepting responsibility for the one that we didn’t have. That says so much about how he views the role of women in childbirth, versus his own. And now he wants to take that choice away from other women and couples entirely,” she said.

    “This was a decision I had to make—twice—about my future and a potential child’s future, and I was able to make it, both times. And Herschel was also able to have a say. The fact he now thinks it’s OK to just take that away,” she said, “I just can’t understand.”

    I know we're not supposed to demonize people on the other side of the aisle like Walker and think of them as evil, but damn it's hard sometimes.

    This speaks so much volume. I bet you not one "Christian" who votes for Walker could answer why with a straight face.

    Yes, and it's not their Christianity has to direct how they vote - those two things can be separate. Except they always insist that they're not. They "pray over" Walker to ask for God to help him win the election. It's very clear that their politics guide their religion and not the other way around . . . which means the religion is what is malleable, it's whatever they say is. It matters when they say it matters and it doesn't when it doesn't.

    Its no secret how bad of a candidate Walker is. He will get his strong R votes. But we all know majority of the middle will not vote for him.
    But when he loses, probably by double digits, anyone want to take the over under on "Rigged Election" claims?

    This is why I had no problem saying "F" DeSantis and Florida. I would hate to have the good suffer for the bad BUT, the bad need to really feel the consequences of their decisions.....like voting for people who vote against aid for other states when it's not them getting hit. Maybe the good will decide to get out en masse or convince some of the undecided to vote for people who will do the right thing. I can't abide by anyone talking to me about their faith. If they have it and it's true, good on them. The rest of them tell me exactly who they are by their deeds.

    This right here. Well said.

    Wish I could give this fifty thumbs up.

    Ridiculously, the polls are very close. Walker is so bad. Not only does he seem to have terrible character, but he also seems to be very dumb. The seat was the Republican’s to lose, even though Georgia is trending purple. Republicans should easily win the seat, but they elected one of the most horrible candidates possible. Even so, they may still win the seat. Warnock will probably win, but the fact that it is competitive is sad.

    I saw one yesterday that had Walker at 38% and Warnock at 50%.

    The Univ of New Hampshire poll showed Warnock with a 12% lead, but the SurveyUSA has him with a 3% lead. However, 538 currently says that Walker has a 40% chance of winning. Walker chances of winning should be astonomical, not 40%.
