I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

    Yes.

No. I'm pointing out that there is no evidence either way, so assuming the position that she is lying makes no sense. Taking it several steps further to wanting to legally punish her is ridiculous.

This is why I said several posts ago that the idea of whether or not an apology is warranted would be a far better question. I think there's an argument to be made either way.

What's the student's name? I searched buy haven't found it yet.
There is evidence it did not happen, tape, audio, eye witnesses (both DUKE and BYU) and the other black player that was also taunted, according to the duke player. So she lied to play the victim card with her activist god mother or she misheard something that no one else misheard.

Doe his name matter? They had video of him being escorted out. He was escorted out as a racist in front of the entire student section.

She accused an innocent person and was proven she was wrong and she has not said a word. If there is one thing I learned from you on this board is that the innocent should welcome an investigation and the chance to tell the truth. Do you still feel this way?

I work in a warehouse. We get deliveries all day long. I couldn't count, i'd have to start an excel spreadsheet , how many times a white truck driver or delivery driver made racist comments just assuming i would agree with them, or felt the same way just because i was white. i do enjoy the squirm of watching them try to backtrack or try make excuses when i tell them i do not like that and would appricate them not talking like that in my office.
Or like that time my wifes uncle who made pretty bad comment about Puerto Ricans and my wife told him i was Puerto Rican. All of a sudden most of those people develop a studder.
I will say yes, in my experiences, this happens more normally than most people would like to admit.
So the average white American is a racist. Ok, thanks for being honest on what you think.

Do you think the average black American is also racist? yes or no.

    at lot, yes, average, No.
That is fair. I just wonder why you and most Americans think most of white people are racist and although a lot of blacks are racist but not proportionate as whites?

A lack of evidence for something is not the same as evidence against it. If I cheer for the Saints and nobody else hears it, does the lack of proof to others demonstrate that I did not cheer?

It doesn't, but it goes to demonstrate that nobody was slandered. There is no evidence that her statement was false and no evidence that his reputation was damaged

She accused an innocent person and was proven she was wrong and she has not said a word.

She wasn't proven wrong. See the first point in this post.

This is not my position at all. I don't support investigations into people who have not committed crimes. This applies across the board. You say a lot of stupid shirt that is demonstrably false. I don't support investigating you for crimes because you haven't committed one to my knowledge.

Do you think there is proof in this incident that the white kid didn't yell the N-word during the volleyball game at the black player? Yes or No

No. As I have said, there is a distinct lack of proof. There is also a distinct lack of proof that Rachel Robertson knowingly lied.

You saying she lied is an affirmative claim. You have no evidence to support that.

There not being any evidence to support her claim is not evidence that she made up her claim.

She said something happened that did not happen. She also doubled down and when presented with the evidence that her allegations were false, crickets. That is lying.

She and her God mother should be investigated for faking a hate crimes.

    You just described lying.

Did someone get escorted out in front of the crowd as a 'racist' and banned from future events based on whether you cheer for a losing football team?

None of that has anything to do with the difference between a lack of evidence for an event vs evidence disproving that event. Would you care to answer the question?

    Lying requires intent to deceive.

    Mistakes are not lies.

If you cry wolf then your actions have real world consequences. Her actions caused a lot of undue hardship on a completely innocent person. I know you are fine with that, because to you 'racism' is such a threat, it is ok if a few innocents are destroyed in the your righteous pursuit.

You go to some pretty absurd lengths to avoid engaging honestly. I can't imagine how exhausting it is.
