I’ve seen two of these stories this morning so far. One where the 2 yo US citizen was deported even though her father, a US citizen, was actively trying to stop her deportation. And this one, where a baby who is still breastfeeding, was separated from her mother by rapid deportation. These were people who were in the immigration system, they were detained when they kept appointments with their local immigration offices. These are not fugitives, they are not criminals. This is evil.

Not really. The problem here is that the judge aided an individual who had been deported and then illegality re-entered. That is a statutory crime. So the judge aided and abetted a criminals escape.

They tried to arrest him without a judicial warrant.. But I guess you are ok with that? Are you also OK with Bondi allowing agents to enter peoples homes without a judicial warrant? When law enforcement breaks the law - in this case the fourth admentment "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures , shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause , supported by oath or affirmation , and particularly describing the place to be searched , and the persons or things to be seized." the you have a BIG problem

Several of the articles I read stated that Ruiz had been deported. Not allowed to come back. He illegally re-entered. There is a statute that states that is a criminal act. It’s why ICE was after him. Judge might have taken a moment to learn that information.
