It’s so repulsive to see people cheering for what is basically 80% the same thing as the Holocaust - different end result but otherwise very similar.

Economists have said it would tank the economy and cause inflation - notwithstanding the cost.

Is it going to actually happen or is this Build The Wall 2.0?

The last time Trump took children from their families he didn’t keep track of where they went or who had them. About a thousand children have never been reunited with their parents from that dark time.

Yep. But constantly excusing the Administration’s crimes and misdeeds. Pretty remarkable, really.
I didn’t excuse anything. You confused immigration judges into this process and they aren’t involved. I simply pointed out the organization responsible. I expect that organization was thorough in their decisions and will disappoint the current administration.

    Right on schedule. lmao

You do excuse them - I didn’t mean with that post only. I know you were pointing out my error with that one post. Your first reflex is to excuse their abuses, or at least it seems that way to me.

No I don’t. I just don’t constantly whine, wail, and gnash teeth about immigration issues to your satisfaction. I am a pragmatic person by nature. There’s what’s proper and what’s legal. A whole lot of what isn’t proper is unfortunately legal.

Nope. That isn’t what you’re doing. You’re not being practical, you’re being permissive of what they do because you support the end goal. You can lie to yourself, I suppose. But others see it.

Sendai - an example of illegal conduct. DHS continues to target journalists. They did it in LA, Chicago and now Minneapolis/St. Paul. It’s illegal to do this and judges have ordered them to stop. They just ignore the orders. This is apparently the second such incident in Minnesota in recent days.

Refusing to even send a simple letter to any of your elected officials asking them to fulfill their duty of oversight for this purge is condoning this behavior.

This is what MAGA, Trump and this administration believes. I believe they won’t be satisfied until they have purged the US of all immigrants. Except white South Africans. And other white people.

The journalist was hit by Minneapolis Police.

“Minnesota Public Radio photographer Kerem Yücel was later placed into an ambulance after suffering exposure to irritants that appeared to be pepper balls or similar projectiles deployed by St. Paul Police, and another MPR reporter also was hit but not as badly. Sahan Journal video journalist Dymanh Chhoun was treated by people at the scene after being hit in the face with chemical irritant.”

    “The backstory:

Agents were on the scene at least through 11 a.m. Tuesday, but cleared the scene starting around 12:30 p.m.

As they left, police used tear gas to clear protesters who were blocking vehicles in the street.

    What were federal agents doing?

    What they're saying:

Homeland Security officials were working a detail to arrest Victor Molina Rodriguez, a Honduras who had previously been deported. Rodriguez has previous convictions for domestic abuse and disorderly conduct. DHS officials say he committed a felony by illegally re-entering the U.S.

During the arrest, Homeland Security officials say a U.S. citizen used a vehicle as a weapon and rammed into an ICE law enforcement vehicle. The suspect fled on foot, but was later taken into custody.

Agents at the scene did tell FOX 9's Corin Hoggard they were in the area looking for two people, one of whom ran away and went into a house.”

I’d say this was a legal action by both ICE and Minneapolis Police.
