This election nonsense by Trump may end up splitting up the Republican Party. I just don’t see how the one third (?) who are principled conservatives can stay in the same party with Trump sycophants who are willing to sign onto the TX Supreme Court case.

We also saw the alt right types chanting “destroy the GOP” in Washington today because they didn’t keep Trump in power. I think the Q types will also hold the same ill will toward the traditional Republican Party. In fact its quite possible that all the voters who are really in a Trump personality cult will also blame the GOP for his loss. It’s only a matter of time IMO before Trump himself gets around to blaming the GOP.

I am glad it worked out. I will admit that in online dating both parties come with a mission and that makes the task much easier.
OTOH, there is something special about meeting at work and slowly fall in love as co-workers. That is the best part of the trip.

Liberals have changed. They were much more open in the 1960s and 70s. Now liberal women are more conservative with regards to dating. Many end up alone without a partner. They do not tolerate flirting. This is mostly the highly educated feminist type woman. Blue collar women are fine and tolerate flirting.

I don’t think this is liberal woman becoming socially conservative. We are seeing a gender gap in college education with woman graduating agreater rates than men. Women typically don’t marry below their station. This leads to less eligible partners for those woman. Those same woman often pursue secondary education and careers first and so they age out of childbearing years. At that point, marriage seems unnecessary.

We are also seeing the end of shaming for the unwed and unwed mothers. A return to Victorian norms would show an opposite trend.

Lastly, people are living longer and have the financial means to be single for life. At the same time, the costs of children seems to be rising with children now living with parents until 20s.
