Thought we should start thread here - over weekend, US carried out strikes against Houthi elements in Yemen in retaliation for their actions in Red Sea.

So any missile/shot fired from Houthi elements in Yemen will be considered coming from Iran. Obviously this is wrought with problems, but we know Houthis will respond and continue attacks.

So then what does this mean for Iran? Lots to unpack, but seems to me that the NO WAR POTUS is hell bent on getting into yet ANOTHER conflict in the ME. He is backing himself into a corner with statements and we could find ourselves embroiled in ME conflict again.

Looks like a propaganda bot to me. She says that Jews at the DNC had to hide in private rooms. But Trump was welcoming to them. WTF?

That she refers to herself as a jewess is what interests me. "Jewess" is an outdated word which is usually regarded as a slur at best by Jews.

There is a movement afoot to reclaim the old word, but I think that's silly because I don't think it was ever a self applied word for a Jewish woman.

This is extremely dangerous way to deal with a country which potentially has neuclear weapons and we know they have religious fanatics that has no respect for human lives -others or their own, I fear that Israel and/or the US is going to see attacks that will make 9/11 look small.

Iran definitely has radioactive dirty bomb capability, even if they don't have thermonuclear bomb capabilities. No amount of bombing is going to make all that radioactive material, that can be packed into a dirty bomb, disappear. Putting Iran in a no win situation is a stupid idea that's probably going to end badly for everyone.

If stockpiling nuclear weapons were the biggest concern, Israel would be on trial. They absolutely dwarf Iran with both the number of nuclear weapons and their repeated resistance / obscurity to IAEA investigation.

But something something scary radical Islamists. Something something only stronghold of democracy in the middle east.

The frucking western hypocrisy...it melts the mind.

And just a reminder, Israel stole their nuclear weapons technology from the United States of America, their alleged ally.

I wonder if Israel's attack on Iran will have an adverse impact on Russia's war against Ukraine. I think that Iran was still supplying drones, munitions and weapons to Russia. I don't think they're in a position to keep supplying Russia now.

Have you considered the effect a huge American made bunker buster bomb which penetrates a hundred or so feet below the ground before it's big bomb blows up, blowing a big hole, which if they are correct about their targeting information will contain hundreds if not thousands of pounds of radioactive Uranium. If they accidentally blow a critical mass at the wall in the wrong place it might fizzzzz...
