So where would Willis get cash if not from the bank? Every dime she gets paid goes in to the bank through direct deposit. How does she get cash if not from the bank?
I'm sorry, i refuse to believe that she got it 50 bucks at a time, from cash back.
If she was throwing around thousands of dollars in cash to Wade, then she would have needed to replenish her home stash somehow. Where is the evidence of that?
She was lying.
I would think that would also be easy to prove or disprove. Does he have wads of cash in our house right now? Can people that know her personally, intimately corroborate that she keeps cash in her house or not and has done so for as long as they've known her?
Why wouldn’t it be in 100 dollar bills? You can get 100 bills from any bank machine, up to their daily limit, which used to be $350 in my area, but that was years ago. They wanted to use Wade paying for a meal while they were dating as “evidence” of a kick back, they already went into great detail.I don't think they would really get into discovery the way that they would if this was a criminal trial of Willis.
I do think that there is probably a prosecutor somewhere in Georgia that will start to prepare a criminal investigation of her though. She said quite a few things yesterday that seem unbelievable, and if there is evidence out there that can show she was lying, the press will find it, and that will be enough for a prosecutor who doesn't like her going after Trump building a case to prosecute her.
If she had a mound of cash that she got the way she claims, it wouldn't even be in 100 dollar bills.

You are correct in that some politician or prosecutor in GA will use this to try to remove her from her position. But it won’t be for a legitimate reason. It will be because she dared to cross the GOP in GA, those who supported Trump’s illegal fake elector scheme. They’ve been itching to get rid of her ever since. We should demand actual proof - not your feelings that you think she was lying.
Every thing you say may well be true. But it doesn’t really address my frustration. There are few things in this world I believe as much as I believe Willis and Wade lied on the stand yesterday. That's coming from someone who despises Trump, and wants to see him under the jail. People want this to be OK because they want to believe in the prosecution, but they aren't mutually exclusive.
1. I believe Trump and his band of Merry Morons committed crimes in Georgia and Willis has a righteous open and shut case.
2. I believe Fannie Willis showed bad judgment in engaging in a romantic relationship with someone SHE was paying 300K of taxpayer money and knowing the optics were bad told bald-faced lies on the stand yesterday.
3. I don't think this should affect the trial, but I do believe Willis and Wade should recuse themselves for the betterment of the public trust. They have impugned themselves because most people will watch that testimony and know it's BS.
If this situation happened where I work, and they tried to hide it like Willis and Wade did, they'd be fired. White, black, or purple. Stop trying to make this about her being a black woman. That's what she is doing, and it's shameful and an insult to those of us who really have been targeted in the workplace and held to different standards because we are black. It's something I have to experience and overcome every day. I know I can't get angry like the old white executives do because when I do it I'm a threat. I know I can't get drunk and act like frat boys like the white guys do at company events because it's not cute when a black man does it. If we do we are acting "ghetto". I can go down the list of things that I and the few other black people at my level go through and how often we have to step back from what everyone else is doing because we are held to a different standard. This isn't that. This would look bad and be addressed no matter who did it.

My entire position is that no white man would have been subjected to this public spectacle probing into his private life like she was yesterday. It would have been handled through different channels and the ruling from the judge would have been to refer it to the bar or whoever oversees professional ethics. It has nothing to do with the case.
If it was an ordinary case, sure. But in a high profile case like this? Sheet like this gets dug up regardless who you are. This is the definition of an unforced error. Any experienced DA would know to avoid that during this kind of case.Every thing you say may well be true. But it doesn’t really address my frustration.

Speaking of false accusations of racism & misogyny...Every thing you say may well be true. But it doesn’t really address my frustration.

I think you’re wrong. Trump’s lawyers would have tried this with anyone.Every thing you say may well be true. But it doesn’t really address my frustration.

Yes and No. It was the lying under oath that bought the impeachment charge.Clinton got impeached over an affair 30 years ago.
