I have been familiar with Fauci’s career for decades. I supervised a hospital lab through 3 different pandemics and/or disease events over the years. I read his works, I listened to his guidance pushed out to hospitals through the H1N1, Ebola scare, SARS scare, MERS scare.

Anyone who questions his motives and smears his character is just a pig of a person.

Fauci did say it appeared, and that it was the CDC’s recommendation based on previous studies of how viruses transmitted. It had to do with transmission by droplets vs aerosol. As they learned more about the transmission modes, they adjusted, as scientists are supposed to do. It’s a distortion from conservative to cast doubt on his integrity and the integrity of the vast majority of scientists that were doing the best they could to craft policy. It is this same type of agenda that caused overwhelming evidence on things like tobacco to be discounted.
