Surely to be a clown show. We know that RFK certainly thinks he’s getting nominated for HHS, which includes FDA.

Sorry, forgot how precise one must be to post to some folks.Yes, I am glad you agree he was a waste of time.
Test scores are, well, meaningless. Their purpose is to justify the existence of yet another private sector organization(s) seeking profit. They do not show how good, bad or indifferent the education system (there actually is no education “system”) is.WELL, it would have been nice to see what you think you proved. I was talking test scores, not GPAs, which are two VASTLY different things!
I'll give you credit for at least trying, though.
He did not. He missed this part :Did you read it?
Indeed, from such tests, many policymakers and pundits have wrongly concluded that student achievement in the United States lags woefully behind that in many comparable industrialized nations, that this shortcoming threatens the nation’s economic future, and that these test results therefore demand radical school reform that includes importing features of schooling in higher-scoring countries.
Well so you don't believe that GPA reflects test scores? so moving the goal bar again with no work done on your part ??WELL, it would have been nice to see what you think you proved. I was talking test scores, not GPAs, which are two VASTLY different things!
I'll give you credit for at least trying, though.
Then why do educators insist on them?Test scores are, well, meaningless.
What I consider a waste of time is Republicans screeching about debt, waste and inefficiency while, at the same time, worshipping a mediocre dim-wit who tripled the debt.Sorry, forgot how precise one must be to post to some folks.
What I consider a remarkable waste of time is braying about a man long since dead, who has zero control over ANYTHING at all, and whose policies which you seem to be complaining about were accepted by Democrats AND Republicans.
But sure, whining now seems real productive! LOL!
Excellent! Mrs. Bird taught physics. She allowed students to use notes during tests particularly as related to equations. In the real world, people utilize computers, databases, reference materials for information pertinent to what they are doing. The utilization of those data is done due to the training and education they received. He did not. He missed this part :
Having experienced both U.S. and Danish school systems, I’ve noticed a significant difference in their approach to education. In U.S. schools, the focus is often on studying to pass tests, which emphasizes memorizing answers and data. In contrast, Danish schools emphasize learning how to learn. The priority is on developing critical thinking skills, evaluating information, and finding the resources needed to solve problems.
This philosophy is reflected in their exam practices. Danish students are frequently allowed to use textbooks during exams, as the focus is not just on getting the correct answer but on demonstrating the reasoning behind it. To achieve top grades, students must present the correct answer alongside a clear explanation of how they arrived at it, supported by facts and logical arguments. A correct answer without a well-structured explanation typically receives only an average grade, as the ability to analyze and justify one's conclusions is highly valued. This approach means that it is easier for students to gain new knowledge and even to correctly find answers to examination questions, they haven't encountered previously.
I worship no man. Get it straight. What I consider a waste of time is Republicans screeching about debt, waste and inefficiency while, at the same time, worshipping a mediocre dim-wit who tripled the debt.
Um, no, politicians insist on standardized tests. Educators rely on tests for individual subjects to allow students to show understanding of the concepts. Please see my response to Dragon. Then why do educators insist on them?
Jeeze, is THAT what you think you read in MY post???????????Well so you don't believe that GPA reflects test scores?
Feel free to Google "US Test Scores compared to the world"
Nope, never said that. And you're attributing that to the US Department of Education?
Actually, you do. Your refusal to admit it being so is your problem.I worship no man. Get it straight.
Wow, I had no earthly idea you were all-knowing. Well, that or you are making silly assumptions based on absolutely nothing and trying to pass it off as "debate".Actually, you do.
Well then show the sources you are using?Jeeze, is THAT what you think you read in MY post???????????
Do you believe that just because someone has a high GPA, they automatically do well on tests? Or that someone who does score well on tests automatically has a high GPA?
Yes, they are related but not the same thing--obviously enough to most.
No. It does not do so arbitrarily. Do research into the financing methods of schools, the distribution of finances, the requirements for becoming a teacher, the methodolgies used to create standardized tests, the social/psychological conditions which students deal with etc.Nope, never said that.
But if our world rankings were far better pre-Dept. of Education, does that not tell us something?
Saint Ronnie the Dim-Witted is a Republican idol.Wow, I had no earthly idea you were all-knowing. Well, that or you are making silly assumptions based on absolutely nothing and trying to pass it off as "debate".
I don't care whose name is on some building, I just can't seem to get all worked up over such petty bullshirt. If someone donates and the school chooses to name a building after them. who really cares, and more importantly, why? What is it to anyone?
Well then show the sources you are using?
