If Sanders loses Texas, he's going to need to take a hard, hard look at his campaign.

Biden is less than 500 votes behind Sanders in Texas and is pulling away in Maine (and he didn't campaign in any form here).

Looks like Biden might beat out Sanders in Texas

Tough night for progressives if so even with a Cali win

A hard look at what? The moderate vote is solidly behind Biden. That isn't a surprise. Sanders is fine even if he loses Texas as it's still very early, but definitely has to work to steal some states he isn't supposed to win going forward.

Texas, like California, was supposed to be as much of a firewall for Sanders with the Latino vote as South Carolina was for Biden with the black vote. It doesn't seem to be holding there.

Note how large Bloomberg's share of the Vote is in Cali. That's the difference. Put Biden and Bloomberg together and they beat Bernie.

Texas was never a firewall, at least not for Sanders. It's still a very conservative state. California is that firewall.

Biden had been favored in the state up until a month or so ago. While Sanders likely carried the majority of the latino vote, the state still has a massive number of white more moderate liberal voters who likely went Biden.

So in other words, Bernie can blame Warren for stealing votes from him in Texas (although I don't believe all those voters would go for him) just as Biden can blame Bloomberg for stealing votes from him in CA. Only difference is there's no way Bloomberg voters were voting for Sanders.

Of course that's good news for Democrats. The last thing you guys should want is Bernie going into the convention with a plurality. If Biden goes in with a plurality then Bernie supporters won't have much room to complain. They're reasonable I am sure.

Make your own poor little gun thread.

    This is exactly your mo.

So go cry about your guns somewhere else.

Might I suggest for the billionth time make a thread somewhere else.

Here's a video where Joe Biden, a 2020 Democratic candidate, made the announcement at a campaign rally:
