Not long ago Kari Lake proclaimed Arizona's abortion law was a great law and wanted it the law of the state.

Now that she has gotten her way, she is lobbying for it to be repealed.

As I have been saying since 2022, the overwhelming vast majority of women aren't going to vote for the man who proudly boasts that he got rid of Roe V. Wade. Nor are those women going to vote for a forced birther politician.

Turns out, republican belief in "pro life" was all just lies to get votes. Who is surprised? I sure am not.

How many forced birthers will do the same about face?

Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake is actively lobbying state lawmakers to overturn a 160-year-old law she once supported that bans abortion in almost all cases, a source with knowledge of her efforts told CNN.

This is why we can never believe any anti-abortion person who says they will make an exception for IVF, or rape, or incest, but they think a fertilized egg is a person. They cannot square that. It’s all or nothing to them. They will require 10 year old girls to give birth, they will require women with tubal pregnancies to wait until the tube bursts, they will deny women who have trouble conceiving the miracle that is IVF.

This is their idea of “protecting” IVF, a bill that doesn’t protect anyone when an embryo is destroyed, and that specifically expires in one year, comfortably after the election.

This needs to happen in every state legislature.

Paxton is conducting a full court press with extra players against women's rights.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, requested the courts block a provision of the funding bill that gave pregnant workers stronger legal protections.

A group connected to anti-abortion billionaire Trump mega-donors has funneled more than half a million dollars to an Alabama supreme court judicial candidate who said “embryos were human beings whose lives begin at fertilization”.

Alabama’s supreme court was thrust into the limelight earlier this month when eight of the court’s nine justices ruled that embryos created for in vitro fertilization (IVF) were “extrauterine children” in the eyes of the law……

The group funding the Alabama candidate, Fair Courts America, is connected to anti-abortion billionaire mega-donors Richard and Elizabeth Uihlein. Fair Courts America represents the only outside group donating in Alabama’s upcoming primary race for supreme court chief justice, scheduled to take place next week.

The race pits the long-shot candidate Bryan Taylor, backed by the Uihlein-affiliated Fair Courts America, against the sitting supreme court justice Sarah Stewart. A recent Fair Courts America ad told voters: “If you like Trump’s judges, you’ll love Bryan Taylor.” Trump confirmed three justices to the US supreme court, including at least one who supported a group that opposes aspects of IVF treatment.……

What 10 yo has a woman’s body? These people are sick. It’s disgusting to listen to their lies.
She's right. The human body is not designed to have hardened steel instruments cutting and piercing their way into it. That's a scientific fact.

Now the question is, if they woman needs life saving open heart surgery, brain surgery, a mastectomy, or any other invasive procedure, which the human body is not designed for, is she going to simply refuse it, because her body is not designed for it?

Is she advocating for legally prohibiting all medical intervention that the human body is not designed for? If she's not, then basing her argument against abortive intervention on the fact that the human body is not designed for abortive intervention is illogical, inconsistent, irrelevant and just plain absurdly weak as hell.

Two of the largest pharmacy chains in the US, CVS and Walgreens, will start selling the abortion pill mifepristone on prescription at stores in several US states later this month, the New York Times reported on Friday, citing interviews with officials at both companies.

Joe Biden quickly applauded the decision, issuing a statement from the White House hailing an “important milestone” in maintaining access to the pill and encouraged other pharmacies to pursue similar options.

“With major retail pharmacy chains newly certified to dispense medication abortion, many women will soon have the option to pick up their prescription at a local, certified pharmacy – just as they would for any other medication,” the US president said.

“The stakes could not be higher for women across America,” he added.

The two pharmacy chains will not be providing the medicine by mail, the newspaper reported.

In the coming weeks, CVS will begin filling prescriptions for the abortion medication mifepristone in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the Times reported. The pharmacy chain said it received certification to dispense the medication in states where abortion is still legal. And CVS intended to add those states to its distribution “on a rolling basis”, chain spokeswoman Amy Thibault said to the Associated Press…..

Well she would probably argue that those are illnesses, unlike pregnancy. What she doesn’t seem to realize is that mental health is far more important and many future illnesses and maladies are linked. Forcing a girl to carry a pregnancy, much less a rapist’s baby, will lead to mental health problems far greater than an instrument. I would also ask whether she would support outlawing all elective surgeries, like facelifts and other cosmetic surgeries, lasik and other eye surgeries, knee replacement, hip replacement, preventive mastectomies, tubal ligation, hysterectimies, etc, because many people will be mad.
