Donald Trump has lashed out at his former chief of staff Mark Meadows after it emerged that he has reportedly been granted immunity in exchange for cooperating with prosecutors in the federal criminal case charging the former president over his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

“I don’t think Mark Meadows would lie about the Rigged and Stollen 2020 Presidential Election merely for getting IMMUNITY against Prosecution (PERSECUTION!) by Deranged Prosecutor, Jack Smith,” the former president wrote on Truth Social late on Tuesday night.

“BUT, when you really think about it, after being hounded like a dog for three years, told you’ll be going to jail for the rest of your life, your money and your family will be forever gone, and we’re not at all interested in exposing those that did the RIGGING — If you say BAD THINGS about that terrible “MONSTER,” DONALD J. TRUMP, we won’t put you in prison, you can keep your family and your wealth, and, perhaps, if you can make up some really horrible “STUFF” a out him, we may very well erect a statue of you in the middle of our decaying and now very violent Capital, Washington, D.C.

“Some people would make that deal, but they are weaklings and cowards, and so bad for the future our Failing Nation. I don’t think that Mark Meadows is one of them, but who really knows? MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

In a follow-up post, he added: “Mark Meadows NEVER told me that allegations of significant fraud (about the RIGGED Election!) were baseless. He certainly didn’t say that in his book!”……..

    This is witness tampering.

Why is this twatwaffle still walking around?
Stick him in Camp David with no phone and an ankle bracelet.

If you want to play 4d chess, let the Russians know where he is and that if they want him, they can have him.

Trump would absolutely take that deal. Stay in the US facing prosecution or live out his life in posh comfort at Putin's mansion? No contest.

It would be absolutely hilarious to watch the GOP bootlickers contort themselves into supporting him. Because they would. Because they have no one else. Trump mixes cocaine into his shoeshine formula.

Looks like NBC/Universal is trying to get Trump's DC election interference trial televised, and the judge did not dismiss it outright. Instead, the judge has given Trump until Nov 10 to respond before ruling.

NBC's argument is essentially that Trump is accused of trying to suppress millions of Americans' right to vote, and he is running for the presidential nomination. If the trial is televised, the american voting public will have to rely on second and third hand reports about what happened in court, and they will be deprived of the ability to watch it for themselves and determine what happened.

I think it's a compelling argument, but I'm no lawyer, and I don't know about how and what goes in to overriding a rule like "cameras are not allowed in federal courts." On the flip side, even Trump's response will be good information. I can't imagine ANY opposition that will come off as anything other than "I don't want the american voters to see the truth."

So in the civil case there is a document showing that Trump re-installed himself as trustee in the family business on Jan 15 2021.

Yeah, but that was after his failed coup attempt. Not sure how much impact it will have on the other two cases, since he could easily argue that at that point he had accepted that the election would be stolen from him. I don't think it will matter though, they have a lot of evidence already.
