And while it’s true she isn’t being sentenced for taking abortion pills, there is a connection with the completely unpopular laws that the crazed religious right is passing over the will of the majority of people in this country. I thought they were mad because the girl only got 90 days for burning a clump of aborted cells. Not understanding science is a given with this crowd. They don't understand anything remotely complex. But all up in their feelings because of a random person?

I haven't seen any of the other usual suspects accuse the Barbie movie of being "woke" or making any other kind of political or social statement. Nor have I seen the movie, so....what makes it woke? lol.

She's the awful Congress critter from the place where I'm from. She beat a Republican I went to high school with to gain her seat. For a while that pleased me. Seeing him beaten like that was quite pleasing. There was a bit of an old school conflict between me and him.

But then I heard more about her, and so then I started teasing my cousins who still live in that district. They rightfully feel the heat of that shame. She's much worse than Scott Tipiton ever was.

I'm not too hard on them, just a wee bit. It makes up for a lot of their degrading California comments I've heard from over the years.
