Donald Trump Jr has peddled an unfounded conspiracy theory suggesting that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested so celebrities who were affiliated with him would endorse his father’s opponent, Kamala Harris.……

Now, the former president’s oldest son has claimed these celebrities are endorsing Harris for payment, or because they were on a “Diddy party list.”

“We’re seeing unprecedented amounts of pay-for-play again,” Trump Jr said on his podcast, Triggered, on Monday night. “Again, none of this is organic. It’s a paid influencer operation. Know that. The celebrities who aren’t getting paid are getting probably paid in another way because they’re either on an Epstein list or a Diddy party list or both.”

“We all saw that, how magically Diddy gets busted, and all of a sudden everyone’s endorsing the Democrat, just out of nowhere,” he added.

Trump Jr presented no concrete evidence to support this claim or to tie any celebrities to Combs. Further, many of the celebrities who endorsed Harris were signaling support for Biden and Democratic candidates long before Combs was arrested.……

I cannot imagine living in a town where the city officials greenlight this. What could be going on in their minds?

The parade is put on by the Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department. Apparently they don’t pre screen. Caught them off guard.

Everyone involved in a parade has to check in and line up ahead of the parade start time. It's foolish to think that no one saw the offensive group prior to the start of the parade. I don't buy for a second that they didn't see the group before the parade started. They knew about them and they let them participate.

They didn’t have to let them go on once they saw them in the staging area. That’s a weak arse excuse.

Since Trump's love to confess by accusing others, I wonder who they are paying to endorse them?

MAGA media personality Gina Loudon claimed that blockbuster movie Wicked is “offensive” and “racist” against white people, shortly before incorrectly describing its star Ariana Grande as “obviously Hispanic.”

Loudon, who was a member of the 2020 Donald Trump campaign’s media advisory board and is a patron at Mar-a-Lago, said she was “kind of sick” of Hollywood storylines that portrayed white people as “dumb and evil.”

She discussed the movie, in which Grande appears opposite Cynthia Erivo, on Tuesday during a show on the far-right cable network Real America’s Voice.

“Wicked, the movie broke box office records,” Loudon said. “I saw it, but I was very excited at the idea of seeing the interpretation of this. But I should have known it’s Holly-weird – I should have known they would try to make it woke in the ways that they could think of.

“Let’s just start with the fact that they have Ariana Grande, who is obviously a Hispanic woman, playing the part of a ditzy, blonde, white, really villain when it comes right down to it for this particular movie.

“The racism and the racial appropriation I just thought was offensive, frankly. All white people aren’t dumb and evil, and I just get kind of sick of that storyline and I feel like that’s where it started, and it kind of lost me there and it was three hours long.”……..

True, all white people are not dumb and offensive. She is though.

I can't wait to hear her thoughts on Cynthia Erivo's performance as Elphaba!

Florida State Senator Ileana Garcia has introduced legislation to prohibit weather modification activities in the Sunshine State.

The bill was filed on November 20 by Garcia, a Republican who has served in the Florida State Senate since 2020.

The "Weather Modification Activities" bill sets out that "the injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of a chemical, a chemical compound, a substance, or an apparatus into the atmosphere within the borders of this state for the express purpose of affecting the temperature, the weather, or the intensity of sunlight is prohibited."

As per the bill, any individual or corporation that commits a weather modification in violation of the bill will be charged with a second-degree misdemeanor and charged up to $10,000. Each individual violation will count as a separate offense.

In addition to preventative measures, the bill also states that the governor of Florida should on a continuing basis "consider steps that could be taken to mitigate the harmful consequences of emergencies."

The bill also repeals aspects of existing weather modification laws, including definitions and licenses.

Explaining the bill in a statement to Newsweek, Senator Garcia said: "The bill essentially repeals outdated provisions related to various aspects of the weather modification law, including definitions, licensing requirements, and the processes surrounding the application and issuance of licenses.

More specifically, it prohibits certain acts intended to influence temperature, weather patterns, or sunlight intensity within our state's atmosphere. In summary, this legislation will enhance our regulatory framework to safeguard against improper use while promoting responsible practices in weather modification...............

Shares in an "anti-woke" online marketplace skyrocketed by more than 180% Tuesday following news that Donald Trump Jr. was joining the company's board of directors.

President-elect Donald Trump's eldest son was appointed to the board of PSQ Holdings, Inc., on Tuesday, a source close to Donald Trump Jr. told ABC News.

The company confirmed the development in a press release.

"The American people have affirmed the importance of liberty, and PublicSquare is at the forefront of this movement," Trump Jr. said in a statement. "As a director, I'm committed to the long-term success of this important mission for our customers, merchants, and shareholders."............

    ================

Nikai Mitchell paid over $100 to see the “Wicked” movie four times since the film’s release on Nov. 22.

Initially, Mitchell, who had never seen a stage production of the Broadway musical, was drawn to see the film because of Ariana Grande, one of her favorite musical artists.

Decked out in hot pink fur bucket hat, a bright pink top, forest green cardigan and a curated makeup look, she strutted into a Holly Springs, N.C., AMC theater expecting to watch a lighthearted story about friendship and sisterhood.

But, on premiere night, she found herself “crying uncontrollably” while watching a green-skinned young woman grapple with being ostracized for her appearance, power and desire to advocate for others.

“I remember sitting in the theater and being in such a deep emotional state that I had never felt in my entire life when I first watched it,” said Mitchell, 22. “I felt really seen.”

For Mitchell, the story’s underlying narratives about racism, discrimination and privilege directly parallel her own upbringing as a young Black woman − sentiments she’s felt more dramatically since the 2024 presidential race.

“Growing up, I went to a private Christian school in the South. It was all white, and I was friends with a lot of Glindas, people who in the midst of the Black Lives Matter movement and George Floyd abandoned our friendship because I spoke too loud and my voice was just a little too distinctive and a little too sharp for their ears at the moment,” she said.

Since Jon Chu’s adaptation of “Wicked” hit the big screen, perspectives like Mitchell’s can be easily found across social media. Black "Wicked” fans have posted thousands of videos and photos to express their appreciation for the film’s nuanced presentation of Elphaba, a young Wicked Witch of the West, and her fight against political leaders who seek to divide people based on their physical appearance and class.

In TikTok videos, Mitchell and other Black “Wicked” fans point to characters like the Wizard of Oz and Madame Morrible as reflections of the 2024 Republican Party. Many say the characters’ rhetoric echoes statements made by incoming President Donald Trump.

Chu said in an interview with NBC News that when the story landed on his desk during the pandemic it felt “prophetic.”................

Rudy Giuliani could face hefty fines “as well as imprisonment” if he is held in contempt for repeatedly falsely accusing a pair of election workers of manipulating election results in 2020, a federal judge cautioned Donald Trump’s former attorney on Monday.

A mother-daughter pair of election workers last month accused the former New York City mayor of violating a court order that blocks him from repeating anything that resembles his defamatory remarks about them.

The women asked the judge overseeing a defamation case in Washington, DC to consider holding him in contempt in their last-ditch effort to stop him from attacking them while they try to collect the nearly $150 million judgment against him.

Giuliani missed last week’s deadline to respond to their complaint, then pleaded with District Judge Beryl Howell for “more time.” He claimed he can’t find attorneys to represent them because they believe the judge is “unreasonable” and “biased” against Trump, and that an outcome is a “foregone conclusion,” and a “no-win proposition.”

On Monday, the judge agreed to offer him another chance — given the “potential scope and severity” of the “arsenal of sanctions” he could face, including “compensatory and coercive fines, as well as imprisonment.”

He now has until January 2 to file a response. Attorneys for defamed election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss have until January 7 to reply.............

A Republican state representative thinks Missouri should follow the example set by the GOP nationally and allow people convicted of felonies to be candidates for office.

State Rep. Michael Davis of Belton prefiled a bill for the 2025 legislative session that he has named the “Donald J. Trump Election Qualification Act.” The bill would repeal the state’s ban on felons seeking office and allow it “if otherwise qualified.”

“I think it’ll draw some attention, which so far it has,” Davis said in an interview with The Independent.

Davis, who will be starting his third term in the House in January, said he has tried to lift the restriction, first enacted in 2015, in the past. A bill he filed two years ago to remove the barrier to office was referred to a committee but didn’t receive a hearing.

Talking with people opposed to his bill can be awkward, he said.

“Having conversations now, when I bring up the topic, a lot of them are squeamish about the idea of having felons in office, but then, if they’re Republican, I remind them that they probably voted for one,” Davis said............

The “if otherwise qualified” would mean as long as they were Republican.
