a lot of what republican-ism has been is spreading FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt) - thats really all their platform is/has been for a while now
Rudy’s mind left the building a while ago. All that is left is an empty husky that didn’t get the message.
Changing demographics (read: Black/Brown people are coming) exploiting people while corporations and wealth keep siphoning money upwards.

Just curious how many elected republicans don't have children or aren't married and if there are any calls for them to resign since they are unfit to govern
And a lot of these terrible laws that effect kids, or cuts to services and funding that help kids are done by people who have kids so what is even the point of this becoming a debate

So there's a very big tell in the "if you don't have children you don't have skin in the game, you don't care about the future, so you shouldn't have any say" line of reasoning.
You know why the people who say it probably believe it? Because the only thing they care about is their future and the future of their children. They don't give a damn about anyone else, everything they do is to benefit only them and their children, and to hell with everyone else and their children.
This is just one of many ways they tell us exactly who they are and exactly what they plan to do.
For the record, I don't have children. Maybe that's why I care about everyone and the future of everyone. Maybe the people who don't have children should have more say in what happens to everyone and their children, because we don't have our own children to naturally be biased towards. I don't actually think we should have more say, but our perspectives are just as valuable and insightful as those who have children.
As to skin in the game, I don't have children. Most of my friends and relatives do, so I do have direct emotional skin in the game in that way.
All of Evangelical MAGA (which is almost all Evangelicals) are losing their minds about the opening ceremony for the Olympics in Paris. They thought it was a portrayal of The Last Supper, and have been huffing and puffing on line all day long. “Christianity is Under Attack!!!!!!” “The Olympics are Satanic!!!!”
