This new age was spurred into existence when home grown dummies elected a corrupt, mentally ill, anti-democratic, would be dictator as President and don’t bother to hold him responsible for his crimes, don’t want to because in the ensuing mayhem and destruction, they think they will be better off. Please explain what your issue is with a private group coming up with a plan to take legal action if the president gives the military an unlawful order.
--Remember that following an unlawful order is a violation of the UCMJ (therefore illegal)
--The plan would only go into effect if the president were to give the military an unlawful order.
--The plan would involve notifying congress and filing legal action to stop the action if the military members were to follow that order.

Yes, and education is key. You have to educate on what is exactly an illegal order. Why would you be against such education taking place?

And you especially have to have strong education when a political candidate is promising to misuse the military.

Well, if their premise is to prevent the president from using the Insurrection Act in an illegal manner by using the courts or Congress, they wouldn't likely get very far if the order wasn't illegal, now, would they?

And, yeah, there are safeguards. Every member of the military takes an oath to follow lawful orders, and (at least in the Air Force) receive annual refresher training that emphasizes the fact that you are not supposed to follow unlawful orders. The UCMJ and Courts Martial are the enforcement mechanism. With that said, I would hope you would agree that simply training everyone not to follow illegal orders is no guarantee that they won't do so, and that young impressionable military members who are given an order by their commander, that came from the Secretary of Defense, might assume that an order using the insurrection act is a lawful order.
