Anxiety surges as Donald Trump may be indicted soon: Why 2024 is 'the final battle' and 'the big one'

WASHINGTON – It looks like American politics is entering a new age of anxiety, triggered by an unprecedented legal development: The potential indictment of a former president and current presidential candidate.

Donald Trump's many legal problems – and calls for protests by his followers – have generated new fears of political violence and anxiety about the unknowable impact all this will have on the already-tense 2024 presidential election

I’ll reframe this is a more accurate way, Are Presidents above the law? This new age was spurred into existence when home grown dummies elected a corrupt, mentally ill, anti-democratic, would be dictator as President and don’t bother to hold him responsible for his crimes, don’t want to because in the ensuing mayhem and destruction, they think they will be better off. The man is actually advocating violence (not the first time). And btw, screw democracy too. If this feeling spreads, we are In deep shirt.

This goes beyond one treasonous Peice of work and out to all his minions. This is on you or should we be sympathetic to the idea of they can’t help being selfish suckers to the Nation’s detriment? Donald Trump is the single largest individual threat to our democracy and it‘s all going to boil down to will the majority of the GOP return to his embrace and start slinging his excrement to support him?

Can Trump just get up and walk out in the middle of proceedings? I don’t know court protocol.

Since some have trouble with the definition of censorship, if Trump as president makes good on this threat to shut down channels who don’t cover him the way he wants, that would be censorship.

So delusional. He thinks he has a “relationship“ with a bloodthirsty dictator who probably had his half-brother assassinated.

Okay, so if he keeps making little gestures and shaking his head at what the judge says, the judge can kick him out of the courtroom.

NBC admitting there is a deep state. Sounds like treason.

It reminded me of this article:

    Full post:

Worth noting that famous Feb '21 Time article about the "Shadow Campaign" against Trump. In it they admitted to pre-planned street violence if Trump won.

The article described how the Left controlled the activities of groups such as Antifa, BLM, and others that rioted throughout the election year. As the article notes, “Many of those organizers were part of [Mike] Podhorzer’s network,” the man credited in Time’s article as being “The Architect” of the entire election effort

Time noted that more than 150 liberal groups joined the “Protect the Results” coalition and stated that “the group’s now-defunct website had a map listing 400 planned post-election demonstrations, to be activated via text message as soon as Nov. 4th, 2020. To stop the coup they feared, the left was ready to flood the streets.”

There’s another unspoken admission by Time as well. The trigger for the pre-planned riots was a Biden loss, not a “stolen election.”

Angela Peoples, director for the Democracy Defense Coalition, told Time, “We wanted to be mindful of when was the right time to call for moving masses of people into the street.” But after Fox called Arizona for Biden, a decision was made to “stand down.”

As Podhorzer admitted: “They had spent so much time getting ready to hit the streets on Wednesday. But they did it ... there was not a single Antifa vs. Proud Boys incident.”

In other words, Podhorzer and his crew effectively controlled the actions of Antifa and BLM - if not completely, then at the very least during those critical moments and days.

You are so concerned with possible censorship that hasn't happened yet, but you ignore and make excuses for the past and current censorship by the Biden Administration.

You are so concerned with protest that never happened, but you ignore and make excuses for the past insurrection and riot by Trump and the MAGA Administration that did happen.

Read another article about evangelicals support of Trump

One pastor has said "Trump isn't a man of God, he is an instrument of God"

Which to me is another way of saying "I will ignore, excuse, dismiss and justify whatever I need to in order to get what I want"

Isn't there a religious phrase to describe exactly that?

Something about selling your soul to the Devil?

Yes I usually don’t have any issue ignoring stuff that didn’t happen. Conspiracy theorists pay a lot of attention to stuff that didn’t happen though.

For those that support Trump here - what set of policies are pushing you to vote for Trump over Biden?

I feel too many times it's a 'sides' thing, and I want to understand what actual policies that will have an impact on your everyday life you see as advantageous to voting for Trump.

its simply identity politics. nothing more, for many.

for others, it can be just ONE issue- i know for one poster here, its abortion. full stop. Thats it. He would take whatever else comes along, if it means abortion is banned.

So, you are saying that we should not take Trump at his word when he says what he will do when he is president?
