I’ll reframe this is a more accurate way, Are Presidents above the law? Case in point, a right wing facebook page pointed out evidence of Biden’s mental issues when he claimed during a speech that he just took a photo with a woman who wasn’t there.

He was asking where she was, and said he just took a photo with her, and the said that she wasn’t there, and he had confused her with someone else.

That’s something we’ve all done, I’m sure, confused two people. And, like Biden, when we do that we admit what we did and move on.

Not as long as he can grift ordinary people into paying them. He’s not spending a dime of his own money on them. Of course, he owes a bunch of money to E Jean, and we’re waiting on the judgment against his companies from NY, so there’s that.

It’s not just one gaffe or a mistake here and there. There are so many clips like this from his campaign appearances. I can’t figure out what he is talking about here. Does anyone here know? What is “debank”?

To underscore that point...The "About Us" page on the DC National Guard website states:

"As such, the Commanding General of the D.C. National Guard is subordinate solely to the President of the United States."

So, not only was he the Commander of the Unit, but they explicitly answer SOLELY to him.

And, as I've said repeatedly (probably on here a time or two), this claim about 10,000 troops is so laughably bad that anyone who believes it is ignorant to the nth degree.

--10,000 troops is roughly 20% of the number of troops that provided rescue/recovery/security for the entire city of New Orleans for several months after Katrina. If anyone can explain why that many troops were needed to secure the Capitol for a few hours, I'd love to hear it.
--10,000 troops would be somewhere between 5-10 times the number of troops the DC National Guard could have provided if every one of their members was available that day. So, 10,000 troops would have required activating up to 10 National Guard units.
--Why would so many troops be needed to guard the capitol after Trump's peaceful rally. Either his is straight up lying about that, or he knew there was going to be significant violence at the capitol that day ahead of time. I'll leave it up to the Trump supporters on this board to explain which of those two they think it is, and why they don't think that is enough reason not to support him.
