I figured we needed a thread specifically about the media.

There was a very big correction recently by the Washington Post.

That story was supposedly "independently confirmed" by CNN, NBC News, USA Today, ABC News, & PBS News Hour. How could they all have gotten the quote wrong if they actually independently confirmed the story?

Why do all the errors always go in one political direction and not closer to 50/50?

Spotify is full of very left-wing musicians.

Joe Rogan has moved to the right over the last few months, probably for the free publicity.

    Something was bound to happen.

Joe's rolled over and exposed his soft underbelly. Maybe that will placate the other side.
Not like spewing the n-word placates the other side.

All of those N word quotes were from years ago, and most of them were in the context of the word itself.

I believe that people should avoid using that word in any context, but people clutching pearls over it now are people who never listened to Joe Rogan in the first place, and aren't helping anyone by rage baiting now for clicks.

As opposed to the anti-rage baiting for clicks? fork Joe, he's a big boy.

    fork Joe, that's fine.

Don't ask spotify to remove content you never would have listened to anyway.

I am as woke a person as you will ever meet, but this is getting ridiculous.

I have my own stuff on Spotify, haven't said a word to them about that butt crevasse, and "woke" is a Pavlovianly conditioned trigger term.

    yea, i use it intentionally.

I'm reclaiming the word from people who use it as a pejorative.

The term goober will never be not funny

It has a certain something and an implication that even harsher and more explicit insults don’t have
Tucker is a fish sticks heir. He's as "common man" as Don, Hilary, Rudy, Bill, Barr, Nancy, Mitch, or anyone else we'll prattle off, jesus.

It appears some of Neil Young’s music has quietly stayed at Spotify after the rocker announced last month that he was removing his catalog from the streaming platform.

Although his complete catalog list isn't available on the streaming website, Wonderwall notes that Young's music from "soundtracks or other events that featured him but were released by other entities" are still on his page. For example, the outlet notes that his "Heart of Gold" song is there due to the "Eat, Pray, Love" soundtrack.

The 76-year-old ignited a protest against Spotify for airing an episode from Joe Rogan’s podcast that featured Dr. Robert Malone, an infectious disease specialist who has been banned from Twitter for spreading COVID misinformation.

Reps for Young didn’t immediately respond to FOX Business’ request for comment. A spokesperson from Warner Bros. Records told FOX Business "no comment or statement." A rep for Spotify did not return FOX Business' request for comment on if this content will be removed
    .

Rule #1, don't let your virtue signaling get in the way of your bottom dollar. So brave.

Don’t you imagine he cannot control the releases from “other entities”? You really should read things with a critical eye.
I do, that is why when he so bravely stood up to the 'misinformation' I knew, by my critical eye, that he was simply virtue signaling and then the other lemmings joined in and then they also quietly put their 'art' back on the Spotify.
