I figured we needed a thread specifically about the media.

There was a very big correction recently by the Washington Post.

That story was supposedly "independently confirmed" by CNN, NBC News, USA Today, ABC News, & PBS News Hour. How could they all have gotten the quote wrong if they actually independently confirmed the story?

Why do all the errors always go in one political direction and not closer to 50/50?

I don’t believe I made such a statement. Both parties endorse different policies. Some I agree with and some I do not. If agreeing with all the party policies were a prerequisite for support, I don’t believe we could hold an election in this country.

There are some issues that neither party will address. The debt and deficit. The upcoming funding crisis in entitlement spending. Just to name a couple.

The “parties” can claim roughly 1/3 of eligible voters apiece and roughly 1/3 of eligible voters call themselves independent. That percentage is growing.

I don’t vote for the party. I’ve said that several times.

When you vote for people that toe the party line, you do. Keep on lying to yourself, though, if that's what helps you justify your support of people that enable corrupt, self-serving, disgusting behavior.

Just to show how to right TampaJoe is, Rich McCormick a Republican congressman in Georgia's 7th district. He tried this same false equivalency BS, and was loudly boo'ed by Republicans. This district is a safe Republican district, and very red. The crowd appears old, and white. This is the GOP base. Below is the video, you can hear the Biden answer about a minute in.

It's a good reminder that the conserative posters on this board are far more extreme than actual conserative voters.

Hope they didn’t vote for Trump but I doubt that. What would be the reasons for a group of old and white people voted for Trump? Probably not about the economy or taxes. So fork them.
