We should look to them as role models because they should behave as if there are at all times. And, we can judge the credible or non-credible accusations against Trump, Clinton and Biden for themselves and make our own decisions. Certainly there isn't any reason that one could not condemn any or all of them.

I agree with most of your post except about looking to politicians as role models. Why should some of the most corrupt people in our country be looked at as role models? They can speak eloquently with moving speeches while stabbing you behind your back.

Our politicians let special interests and big businesses basically write our laws, put former heads of companies in charge of the very regulatory agencies that oversee those companies, participate in insider trading, illegally spy on most Americans, use drones to kill whoever they want, invade other countries causing mass casualties and harm to their citizens, push regime change to install puppets friendly to the US, put our country in horrible financial shape, etc.

Those are the people that you think we should look up to as role models? Give me a break

Given that the GOP precedent of blatant disregard for sexual misconduct has been set, I don't want to see the Dems take the higher road. It has served no practical purpose. The only enforced penalty has been the Dems themselves. Nobody has been swayed. Franken shouldn't have stepped down for his arse-grabbing, and given Trump's misdeeds, Biden shouldn't do anything about it. Furthermore, Dems shouldn't fight within their own party about it.

If you want to get rid of everyone on both sides I'm all for it. But if the GOP won't take responsibility, then the Dems shouldn't have to either. It doesn't seem fair only one party pays the price.

I won't vote for Biden if I believe he's guilty of this. That leaves a bit of a predicament because if he's the nominee I'd be helping out another guy accused of the same stuff that I really can't forking stand.. but I won't in good conscience vote for someone I believe should be in jail.

That said, for now I'll give Biden the same benefit of doubt that I gave Kavanaugh until I see the evidence.

They ought to behave like role models instead of doing the slimy things that some of them are doing.

Stop electing Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosi. Stop voting for clowns like Steve Scalise and allowing them to stack the courts with partisans.

I don't think he's a terrible person, but I think he's made some terrible decisions in the past (not just the groping and weird sniffing stuff).

To me, yeah, he's just a bad candidate. I don't know if I'd vote for the guy after all of the stuff coming out.

At the end of the day when you compare Trump and Biden and you put aside politics and just look at them as everyday people and at their character, it's obvious that Biden has been 'less bad', but that doesn't mean he hasn't exhibited gross behaviors of a dude who has power. Dudes who have power in general think they can get away with pretty egregious things.

Every guy has made decisions that are bad, but some worse than others. And a lot of people don't let womanizing self-control issues last well into their adult years. That's when you know someone hasn't grown up.

I'd also like to point out folks here taking rightful jabs at Biden but voting for Trump should sit down.

Here is an article from the Huffington Post, discussing that despite the fact Biden has appeared in interviews with NBC, ABC and CNN since the new allegations were brought forward in an interview with his accuser, none presented him with a single question about the allegations. Make of that what you will, but "journalists" seem to be in the strange habit of avoiding directing tough questions to Biden --- and he still struggles.
