I'm sure polls won't change no matter what happens but I am hoping that Kamala absolutely destroys Trump with a healthy helping of petty bait designed to make him lose his mind and goad him into saying something unfortunate

I've said this before but I hope there is some fact checking thins time and Trump isn't allowed to rant about after birth abortions, immigrants eating cats, and lunchtime sex change operations for 3rd graders

A longer post about the debate by Stuart Stevens, who I quoted above. Copy/paste due to length. I couldn’t love this more.

“I worked for Mitt Romney. He had a great debate with President Obama in Denver. He demonstrated why he was qualified to be president and offered an alternative to incumbent.

But the debate did not disqualify President Obama, any more than John Kerry’s first debate disqualified President Bush.

Last night, VP Harris disqualified Trump. He was exposed as a fool, a know nothing who can’t distinguish between fantasy and reality. He astonishingly said he would not have honored Article 5 of NATO, the linchpin to post-WW2 peace and prosperity for Western Alliance. He showed he lives in this make-believe world where Americans overwhelmingly opposed Roe v Wade.

He was humiliated, dominated, left sputtering “Get off my lawn!”

That dangerous fool is the legacy of the modern Republican Party. All those Rs I helped elect, when your careers are studied, this is what you will be remembered for.

Shame. You failed a test as Americans. The worst generation.”

I think it works to her advantage to not debate again. Don’t want him to have a chance to rematch and maybe have some discipline and come off as stable. NBC should give her a town hall and all networks carry it. That would piss him off. Fox News town halls only get seen by the cult.

And the closing remark "a dictator that would eat you for lunch," highlighted Trump's weakness of admiring dictators and that dictators exploit that Trump weakness.

Of course not lol. I think those types of tweets were used as 'evidence' how the debate was biased, rigged, or similar things.

Just like they used those highly-slanted polls as 'evidence' that trump won the debate.

Just like they used trump being in the spin room afterwards as evidence of him having a stronger work ethic or something. Meanwhile KH didn't do the same thing (so it reflected poorly of her).

I'm biased against Trump, so keep that in mind. It looks to me like Trump went to his patented move of grip and jerk. He tried to jerk Kamala's hand toward him, but he didn't get far before she jerked him right back to center.
