Has anyone been following Vegas’ odds on the race over the course of the day?

They were -250 Trump at 4pm. -450 at 7:39pm, and now, at 11:07 CST, you can’t find odds anywhere.

All Vegas knows how to do is sucker a lot of people into losing more money than they win and they are very good at it. People being tricked into believing that Vegas odds are predictions of outcomes show how good they are at suckering people.

Maybe, idk. If Trump wins, I think we'll see a lot of people pulling out of the markets because of the uncertainty a Trump administration would bring.

I said it months ago, if the Dems lost it would be because they thought that just running her would beat Trump. It didn’t happen. They played themselves.

I honestly might have, but it would depend greatly on who her opponent would be.

The ramifications of a Trump win go far beyond what Trump will do with his four years. Project 2025 will wreck this country. Europe will be in danger. NATO will have to handle everything without the US. If Trump wins, we will be in a cesspool for many years after he is dead and gone. MAGA will grow another head and then another. If we can't get rid of them, the Republican party is truly dead. I hate making these kind of comparisons, but it will be likened to Stalin taking over and using Lenin's name to gain popularity....over and over again. I see no bright future for anyone except the rich, our very own oligarchs.

But she was. The DNC didn't have much choice. And that's no slight to her at all. I supported her. But the DNC I think should have tried to persuade Biden to not run for a second term. I was very vocal before the primaries that Biden should step aside and let some fresh faces run in the primaries.

Then Biden was handed the nomination as well by that rationale. We have very different definitions and criteria for what constitutes handing a nomination to someone.
