That's certainly your opinion of how it will be viewed. Some will historians will probably view it that way and others will probably view it other ways.

No you don't. Prove that Trump would not have gotten more votes if he had a ground game. Go ahead and prove that. If what you mean is that Trump doesn't need it ot win, that's a very different thing from a ground game not making a difference.

Yeah I think Newsom, and Pete might have cruised on this thing. They aren't in the adminstration. They are both insanely good debaters, and have good charisma.

I tend to agree. The DNC screwed it up in 2016 (Bernie Sanders/Hillary Clinton fiasco) and again this election cycle (Biden then Harris). They shoot themselves in the foot all too often.

Voters are rewarding Trump’s callous and profane style. He is the anti-thesis of Obama and really every other politician in the modern era. Will the next Democratic candidate get down in the mud as far as Trump? Will truth ever matter again? This seems like the beginning of the end of American Democracy. There are so many negative policies that Trump has proposed that will hurt America, and the economy is so much better than people believe, but people aren’t educated, so people believed his lies. I think you greatly underestimate the uniqueness of Trump. History will remember that a significant portion of this country was so devoted to a single man (not a party, but a man) that he could do and say anything and they stayed with him. That they completely shut themselves off from reality choosing instead to believe everything he said even when it was easily proven he was lying.

This is unique, and history will remember it that way. Sure, it will talk about Biden dropping out and all that involved, but the story of the last 8 years (and the next 4) won’t be a story about an old dude that stuck around too long.

In my opinion if Trump wins, Trump will be immediately pushed out and the real dangerous guys will take over and they will intentionally wreck everything about our country and use that to rally a minority of the population to support mass human rights atrocities against the majority of us.
