    Today it begins, Kamala has reached the point that she's the Democratic Party nominee:

    She spent yesterday on the telephone for most of the day. I read that yesterday that she called the party leaders in all 50 states. That would take me three days.

    He's inciting a violent riot. I guess that registers as not being unexpected,,, while not making sense

    What I'm sorting out right now are reports that Biden is leaving the White House to go to secure location until the election is over, and they're boarding up the White House and other DC building in preparation for that riot.

    I still need to find out if that is real and is happening. I'll post further on that if what I've seen hints of so far checks out and seems to be real.


    On edit: After a few searches I'm happy to report that I unable to find a hint that the above narrative is real. It seems like I encounter some bogus outer space news everyday.

    That's about the same percentage as men who said they've done so. In 2016, when Donald Trump had not yet completed his takeover of the Republican Party, his "shy" supporters maintained that no one is obliged to share who they voted for………

    You can bet your house the Capital will be much better protected than it was Jan 6 2021. There will probably be some SEALS and Delta force members close by making sure

    I don't like to place wagers very much, especially not wagers which may impair my home.

    I know, I will bet the House of Representatives that the Capital will be better protected.

    same here. in reality i bet my home on nothing. That said, anyone wanted to storm the capital again
    will be met with strong resistance this time.

    Considering that it's been growing cold for winter, I would apply lots of cold water on them from fire hoses.

    I remember Nate Silver at the old 538 saying that Ann Selzer was the best pollster in America with her Iowa poll.

    She is good, however I think she does tend to lean the least little bit toward conservatives which Nate as a slightly biased towards conservative person would likely not notice.

    I think she's a conservative as well.

    It's kind of nice seeing an old timer pollster still up and going. So many of the new crop of pollsters only last a few years and then return to the obscurity from which they came.

    I think it possible that both Texas and Florida might be in play. Now it seems Iowa might also be in play.

    And Ohio, the penny farthing bicycle state. I saw a poll looking kind of good there today.
