Several large evangelical accounts are already in damage control mode. Essentially they are trying to soothe the pro-life contingents that he doesn’t really mean it and it’s justified because he has to get elected to effect the changes they want. I saw at least 2 on Twitter with wording that essentially means what I just said without saying those exact words.
