Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia and the widow of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow, Senate Republicans revealed in their report on the younger Biden’s work in Ukraine.

Baturina is referenced in the 87-page report, which was released Wednesday, addressing her payment to Biden’s investment firm in early 2014.

“Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor,” it said in providing background on the businesswoman.

The report described her involvement with Biden as “a financial relationship,” but declined to delve deeper into why the wire transfer was made.

The probe also found that Baturina sent 11 wires transfers between May and December 2015 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA, a tech startup that filed for bankruptcy in March 2019.

Nine of those 11 wire transfers were first sent to Rosemont Seneca Partners, the investment firm founded by Biden and Chris Heinz, stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, before being transferred to BAK USA.

We all know their is massive corruption on both sides of the aisle. Here is an alleged allegation against Hunter Biden who was allegedly enriching himself because his Dad was Vice President.

Although I'm thinking @Snarky Sack will like it...the rest of you can just ignore it.
It's just musical entertainment....don't quote it and post rebuttals.
    I liked it.

I like political song parodies, but I only love them when they are based on songs that I love.

Al Gore was great fodder for many. I'd post one, but I'd never want to stop, and I'd be tarred and feathered, figuratively speaking.

    Good times . . .

I'd take Al Gore over Joe Biden any day.

What's the difference between Gore and Biden to you? I'd think that they would mostly govern the same way.
I'm talking about Gore when he ran for the presidency. Not Al Gore the current 75 year old.
Probably you totally knew that but I'm just making sure.
"Al Gore wikipedia" just let me know that Al Gore was 39 when he ran for presidency.
If I could swap a 39 year old Al Gore with our current 80 year old President, I'd gladly do so.
Gore might "govern the same way"....but I'd feel better if he was roused from his sleep at 3am because there was a crisis.

Yeah, I think the Democrats are making a mistake by sticking with Biden for another term. I genuinely worry about his health. I feel the same way about Trump. Both are really old for a President.

I'd much rather someone in their 40s/50s.

Thanks for the clarification. I actually didn't know you meant a 39-year old Al Gore.

I haven't seen enough of him to know for sure but I've felt like Gavin Newsom would have been their best nominee.

He'd be fine if he didn't have the baggage he does. He's got some skeletons in his closet that would hurt him in a general election. Trump may be immune to it, but Newsom wouldn't have that luxury. It stinks, but that's politics these days.

Not aware of his skeletons but I can believe it.. I'm not even sure who else the Democrats have that could even be imagined as a very strong nominee.. It's amazing just how rare it is to find someone with that "it" factor Obama possessed in spades.

Oh, I think they're out there. But your most charismatic leaders like a Bill Clinton or Obama don't usually run for President. They usually run businesses or rather work in the private sector. Not many true leaders are politicians. So the pool is pretty thin. At least that's my theory. I mean really, I wouldn't want to be President.

The current governor of MD (Wes Moore) may be that guy but I think 2024 is too early for him to consider a serious run, but 2028, depending on how things go, could be the time for him.....
