Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia and the widow of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow, Senate Republicans revealed in their report on the younger Biden’s work in Ukraine.

Baturina is referenced in the 87-page report, which was released Wednesday, addressing her payment to Biden’s investment firm in early 2014.

“Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor,” it said in providing background on the businesswoman.

The report described her involvement with Biden as “a financial relationship,” but declined to delve deeper into why the wire transfer was made.

The probe also found that Baturina sent 11 wires transfers between May and December 2015 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA, a tech startup that filed for bankruptcy in March 2019.

Nine of those 11 wire transfers were first sent to Rosemont Seneca Partners, the investment firm founded by Biden and Chris Heinz, stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, before being transferred to BAK USA.

We all know their is massive corruption on both sides of the aisle. Here is an alleged allegation against Hunter Biden who was allegedly enriching himself because his Dad was Vice President.

I saw that explanation last night on a tv program as well.
This should not be explained away or overlooked.
Are you willing to have an open mind and apply critical thinking to this or no? Did you see that explanation on NewsMax? Or Fox?

    Here is the supposed message:

There’s no date on here, but let’s say we go with the date they say - 2017or 2018. Joe Biden was not in any government position on those dates. Also let‘s read the message: it’s a somewhat angry message that a commitment hasn’t been fulfilled. What indicates that is a bribe and not any sort of regular business commitment? This is a serious question - what indicates there is something illegal going on here?

To add to this: this is most certainly not a WhatsApp message. It’s a mock up at best, anyone could have typed that up. They used a commonly used photo of Hunter from 2022 news articles and placed it as if it is his profile picture. They mean for this to be misleading, IMO.

Also, even if the words are correct, what is the supposed threat? If you don’t fulfill your commitment you will be sorry because my father knows a lot of people and I hold a grudge? We don’t even know if Joe was actually there or not, or whether he knew about this or not.

So Steve - tell me exactly what you think makes this something that you seem to think is such a big deal?

Did you see the supposed message? It was not coded at all because he said “I am sitting here with my father”. I think you just make shirt up as you go without ever checking your facts.

Said it twice, even. At the start and at the end.

There is a Community Note on it now:

"Readers added context to this image

The graphic is an illustration, not a screenshot. This angle crops out the attribution to Congressman Jason Smith. The text is a quote from an IRS whistleblower's testimony."

It's beyond stupid that people will chose to believe stories such as this one, and then declare statements within sworn affidavits as lies.

Fmr. Gov. Christie needs to step up his efforts. While I credit him for trying to convince his potential constituents that trump is a failure, he needs to couple that with honesty about the opposition as well.

Just saying his father is there would never stand up in court as using his father as a threat which is why he worded it the way he did.

But if it isn't real who cares? Moot point. You are welcome to the last word on that. Or several last words if you like.

Okay - this is just what some person says they saw anyway. It’s not an image of the message, but Rs want you to think it is. It’s just hearsay with no proof that any of it is real.

But..what if he did. Let’s say, instead of “the man sitting next to me,” he said “my dad, Joe Biden,” exactly what would make anything in this text usable in court?

He said “I’ll make sure my dad, Joe Biden, and all of the people know what you did…” So? Has anyone said that anything in this message was not a routine business transaction? If a business fails to live up to their end of an agreement, is there anything illegal if the other party says “I’m going to tell every politician what you did”?

Pesky facts, again, lol. He actually - According to the fake WhatsApp representation - said “my dad” two times. So he wasn’t speaking in code at all. There isn’t a date stamp on the fake message but they say it’s from either 2017 or 2018, when Joe wasn’t involved in any political or governmental position.

So it’s just typical BS from these House Rs. They are a clown show.

It wouldn't because the rest is still only implied.

No, there is nothing illegal in saying that. Hence my contention that it is in code.

But, as I already stated, if it is fake, there's really no reason to talk about it. I'd offer to let you have the last word, but I already said BT could have it, so I'll let you two decide between yourselves.

It wouldn't because the rest is still only implied.

WHAT is implied? What is the implication beyond “I’m upset at you and I’ll tell some powerful people about it”?

No, there is nothing illegal in saying that. Hence my contention that it is in code.

But what is the need for the code? You still haven’t answered that? What is it, that you think they were doing that was illegal? Again..what makes you think this wasn’t a normal, legitimate business dispute?

But, as I already stated, if it is fake, there's really no reason to talk about it.

I never said it was fake. I have no idea if it is or not.

In the message the supposed Hunter person’s only threat is that he and his dad will tell everyone what the guy did, if he doesn’t keep his word. Does that sound like a criminal enterprise? Most criminals aren’t going to broadcast a bribe gone wrong, are they?

    There’s just no logic here.

I came across this when killing time scrolling on Youtube.
I'm thinking @Snarky Sack might like it.
It mentions Biden and eventually Hunter as well....

Although I'm thinking @Snarky Sack will like it...the rest of you can just ignore it.
It's just musical entertainment....don't quote it and post rebuttals.

You can't dictate what we can and cannot comment on here. If it was just for your bff there, then you should have just sent him a pm about it. Instead you posted it in public, so anyone can reply to your post if they choose to do so

    That's true.
    I can't dictate anything.
Let's think of that as a suggestion instead.
A suggestion that many will ignore.

I am fairly certain that the Personal Message system will not allow me to post a Youtube video and have the recipient able to view it. PMs don't display Youtube videos to others...do they? @DaveXA
